Arizer Solo 3

Got mine yesterday. This thing kicks ass! I love Session. This allows me to take micro hits- just the tiniest of sips. There is no doubt you can get everything out of your weed with this, and no real danger of combustion unlike Dynavap, my go to until yesterday. I got no complaints, except mine won't beep no matter how I set it, but I don't care. In the suggestions dept, a charging stand like upright cordless phones have would be cool. I like that I bought from a Canadian company.
This thing definitely combusts and chars lol, combusting has only happened to me once but I char pretty often.

After reading some of these posts, I don’t think it’s worth buying the 3. I’m very content with the Solo 2, virtually zero maintenance and never in any danger of combustion. The only thing I wish it had was USB or USB-C charging.
Plus I have the AIR 2 in rotation as well.

And you can get it for $119 at POTV
The upgrades now feel very incremental like getting a slightly better iPhone that's similar to the old model. It would be cool if Arizer released some unique new product line but I doubt they will for some time. Not dumping on Arizer by the way they're great it's just I feel people get hyped over actually pretty insignificant changes.

Have you read early in this thread where we discuss this, and ways to avoid it? Should be a simple matter of how you load, time and temp settings... Should be manageable

Arizer has always been about incremental upgrades and they have been around for a while now... Nothing wrong with that

Yes but he said no real danger of combusting and that’s not true, there is a chance or almost guarantee char if you pack it fully and tight.

Well, if that's your only problem.
I think the excitement is a bit overblown, though.
As a V1 user, you're not at a disadvantage, and you can update or not.

V1 will work just as well as V2.
There are other manufacturers that constantly give an E04 error and constantly have to be sent in, or they install fiber optic cables in their devices.
No, everything's fine, I'm very satisfied with Arizer, even as a V1 user, and their service is absolutely great.

There's no reason to complain.
Yea, I ordered a v1 right when the v2 came out. I could have cancelled my order and ordered the v2. Didn't bother. The v1 is the best device I have used! Upgrades weren't enough to have me send it in.

Received mine today as well. Shipped from Canada to North Carolina in legit 24 hours… i didn’t pay for any extra shipping costs either. City Vaporizer is legit, but they did forget to include the free Arizer bag unless I was supposed to add that to the cart on my own lol. Either way stoked to try this bad boy out! (No water piece until Monday so using it with the stock stems for now).

I love Arizer products, so im biased. I think they're still killing it.

Over the years, Arizer has built a rock-solid reputation for quality and value, and I continue to be impressed. call me a fanboy I guess.

I recently got my hands on the Solo III v2 and the Air SE. For context, I already own the Solo III, Solo II, and the OG Arizer Air. Out of everything I’ve tried, the Solo III is my #1 favourite battery-powered dry herb vape, incredible vapour quality, great build, super reliable and CANADIAN!

The Solo III v2 is a solid evolution of the SOLO III. Some small but meaningful tweaks:

  • You can now turn off the security combo key (finally!)
  • The buttons feel more solid and clicky
  • USB-C charging! No more hunting for a specific charger, any USB-C will work
One small gripe: I’m not fully sold on the new green UI theme, its harder to read at a glance compared to the black model. Would love to see theme customization in a future update. Still, it’s an awesome upgrade.

If you already have the Solo III, it might not be a must-buy, but if you're on an older model like the Solo II, the jump is definitely worth it.

Score: 4.5/5 - just shy of perfect, mostly due to the UI color and non-removable battery.

I also recently tried the Air SE Timewarp Green (Texada Timewarp nod?). It’s fun, funky, light, and super portable. Great for beach days, concerts, or hanging out in the backyard. It’s also much easier to use on a rig than the chunkier Solo III.

Even though it’s plastic, it feels solid, classic Arizer engineering. Downsides? Smaller bowl size and micro-USB charging (wish it had USB C!). I love that it still uses removable batteries, though. I also swapped out the clear stem for a black glass one and it looks chef’s kiss, Arizer, get come out with a black glass stem!

Score: 3.5/5 – great value and function, just a few design tweaks away from greatness.

TL;DR:

  • Solo III v2 = top-tier portable vape, nearly perfect
  • Air SE = fun, lightweight, super portable backup or travel vape
Hard not to recommend both devices, but hopefully this review gives you a little more to consider. Peace.

That's an epic collection... loving the stems too. Where do you get your stems from?

Alright so the Solo 3 absolutely had me blasted last night. Cannot wait to try this thing on a water pipe! What’s your guys go to presets for on demand / session? The V2 has 3 temp levels and I’m trying to figure out what’s best. I think I’m at 365°, 385°, 410° right now. Haven’t had the need to crank to 428°, where with older Arizer devices I always had to go to higher temps for stonier effects.

I have my V1's session presets at ~320-340, 358, and 382. I forget exactly what the first one is because I mostly use 2 and 3. For on demand I'm using 15 or 20 second draw on level 3 or 4, which are nominal temps 392 and ~400-410 respectively on the V1 IIRC

After burn off tried mine last night. Wasn't bothered by the pull resistance. Really enjoyed the session. Since the price is still reduced for 4/20, I ordered another one so the wifey can have her own. There goes the kids inheritance.
They'd just spend it on dumb shit anyways! LoL Just kidding......If you don't mind me asking did you grab a V2 or save some cash and get the V1?

Nice. Your settings are nearly identical to mine. Session presets are 338, 358 and 378 and the on-demand settings are the same.
