@Chose: I completely agree. The ArGo does not really get the exposure here that it deserves. For me, it's one of the best (if not THE best) portable, small and stealthy vaporizer that came out last year. I just wished that it would run a bit more on the cooler side, but that's nitpicking.

I really like my Argo it's one sweet vape I'm really surprised this thread is so small did it not sell very well lf so I can't understand why
It's small simple to use has great flavor uses 18650 batteries easily cleaned
Very discreet to walk around the city looks like a e cig box mod maybe it's a little expensive I don't know
I might be wrong and it may have sold well but this thread is very quiet compared to other threads it's a shame because it's an amazing vape
Long threads are often a sign of trouble. Like the solo it seems this vape isn't flakey. I agree this vape is underappreciated as it is changeable battery amazing cleanibility. Very light. Vapor very good. Extraction very even. Very easy to use.

I want to get new portable and have the ARGO on my list!
Long list I don’t vape?

My SOLO is still working well?

Hi guys,

Considering getting the ArGo as I'm due an upgrade on my portable (Pax 2). Reading reviews on it, and it sounds up my alley. Just wondering if anyone on here has had any major issues or is it a vape that will last? We all know some reviews tend to hide some important flaws etc.

Thanks!

It is still too new for longevity type assessments. This thread is a good indication of reality cause we beat up our vapes. Arizer seems experienced at making products which are durable like my 6 yr old solo.

Mine works great. I wouldn’t want to drop it though! Never thought I’d use it more than the mighty but the ease of packing is very nice
I've been a die hard fan of the Inhalater design there too the ease of loading / unloading was a huge plus for me.....
Taste and FLAVOR is my attraction to the SOLO so if the ARGO is like that?
All over it!
After hearing that Arizer directed their attention to improve the heating of air before entering the herb chamber "sold me!" that & they made the chamber more narrow & taller too......these were reasons I've always felt made the Inhalater design so much better so for all those reasons..... I did pull the trigger..... Twice gotta get gf one too so I'm really hoping we like them.....
We're both very excited for their arrival......:clap:

OS..........

Fingers crossed:rockon:

In search of the best terps and smoothest vapor
Picked me up an Argo, charging it now. I was surprised how small it is. Way more pocket able than most portables! As long as it performs somewhere near my Solo and Air II (NO reason to expect otherwise), this thing is going to be a winner.

Good evening,

Just starting to read this thread. Only on page 7 so far. Will read through the whole thread in time. Reading through a couple threads now, so might take a bit.

Been on this site since November 18, and slowly getting to know some of the members here.

Switched to vaping then.
Definitely a convert.

When my wife and I switched over, we got an EQ, Dynavap and the ArGo all at the same time.

After a few months in, the ArGo is the only vape she uses. She also hits dabs with a nectar collector, but she doesn't use the EQ or the Dynavap.

We got a couple extra batteries and a 3 in 1 water tool adapter. (She uses it as an extended mouthpiece, but not on any of my bongs)

I'm sure I'll run into this in the thread as I make my way through it, but I was wondering if folks had come up with a good method of plugging the aroma tube when installed in the device? For smell reduction while on the go.

I use one of two techniques. Either a vinyl cap over the whole unit (info in posts below) or half inch vinyl caps (also below) which have the advantage of being able to cap up both ends so you can actually seal it off (the lower end is still open through the vents when installed in ARGO.

Thanks very much. I rather like those 1x2 vinyl caps. Now I just gotta find somewhere to buy a couple in Canada that doesn't cost a ton in shipping.

Was definitely in no condition to write a post later last night.

You're welcome. IIRC I bought mine on EBay, which should work fine for you?

Otherwise, it's a standard (English measure) cap, 1X2 inch, used on square tube and such. Large hardware distributors carry them. I have two, when both are on it's very well protected. I doubt you'd hurt it with any reasonable drop?

Yeah, I saw the eBay link you posted and found one option on eBay.ca but the shipping is twice the cost of the product. Kinda hard to justify.

I'll definitely keep looking though, cause I'm interested.

I'm kinda somewhere between Toronto and Kingston, so there's not a lot of big stores around me. But if I can find something in Toronto, I could stack it onto a visit to my folks or friends.

I'd just use the rubber caps that come with it.....put the top down and put the rubber cap on the exposed stem end. It would take some banging hard to break the glass stem that way.

That's what I do, too. Works just great!

You folks don't find much smell gets out with just the top cap on?

I'm not 100% sure I want to pack it with the top down. But I'll put some thought into it.

I'll add another vote for this option. I've done this for quite some time with no ill effects.

IMO capping the top covers part of the problem, as I said above the bottom is still 'wide open'?

How big a risk/problem is a call individuals get to make.

A more complete smell control solution is to either pull the stem and cap BOTH ends or cap the bottom of the ArGo as well as the top. Lots of choices......
