As OF said....stick with the stock battery and you will have no need to worry about anything.....except keeping a charged one ready to go at all times...lol
Ok....just had some decent amount of time to report back on one of the new bubble straw/mp's.
I choose to get 2 of these guys as i liked the wide shape and smaller diameter mp as the other narrower one with straight sides.
Note the pic on 420EDC site is slightly distorted... for some reason the pic shows what looks like to be 3 tubes coming together for the mp...it is just a single glass tube exit. Some camera glare or something makes this pic look wide at the mp...it is smaller than the lower main stem in reality.
Ok after trying the other narrow bubble stems on my airs....I swore them off for 2 reasons.....water in my mouth.....and water in my mouth. lol Actually, I do not enjoy using the vape upright with the load directly sitting so close to allow it to touch the metal oven bottom. When the herb touches the bottom of the oven....it results in toasted taste from the first pull. I just take a slow first draw with the vape upside down and allow the flower to melt together and stick in the stem/screen better. Then on 2nd draw turn upright and go to town.
I use a SS screen in every arizer I use. This will help keep things cleaner and it is so easy to pull it out and clean if needed more than the usual pic or brushing.
Ok.....I will be honest.....I got water in my mouth.......when I over filled it the first time. I like lots a water to smooth it out with smaller glass pieces. I felt the smaller old bubble straws just did not allow enough water to make it worth while to use water in it. Probably not a bad idea to use one of those without water if you have one.
After I figured out what a better level of water to use was......I had some awesome sessions with my argo! Lately I have had to take a break from my powerhouse vapes like the Elev8r and flowerpot because of sore throat issues....(and super hi T). So this new bubble straw was a welcome site to use my argo with and vape on a lighter note...so to speak.
To figure out what water level will be ok.....i drained what I had in it.....(blow into it and it will push out...most of it). I then filled it to the point at which I could turn the whole thing upside down and not have the water inside get into the small tube that goes into the MP. So at this point I could feel ok with flipping the glass piece upside before I put the vape on upside down and take the first draw to stick the load to the glass walls and screen bottom......then flip the whole thing over upright and not have any water get into the small thin inner top tube and make its way to my lips.
So this level came out to be this:
Basically the 2 small holes are right in the middle of the water level.
Also, you see a 1/2inch o-ring around the stem. That is used for 2 things.....if I use diff color then I can tell which stem has what loaded into it when packed and ready to go when I am out. But the biggest reason for having one on there was something I had no idea I would need with this bubble stem. There is just a tab bit of wiggle in the top of the vape. Even if you push the button and let the top raise up...it will still have some wiggle....it bothered me. So I put the o-ring on there to see if it would fit the gap at the top of the plastic top. I have some 7/16th o-rings....they probably will be good too. The o-ring took the wiggle out of the stem at the top of the vape. I just barely pushed it down onto the top of the argo as I do not use the top up ever unless I am cleaning.
This will work if you want to use the top up as well. But for me....a plus was the fact that if I accidentally hit the top button while vaping.....the top will now stay down anyway. BRILLIANT! lol
Ok....on to performance. This guy is a ton better experience than the other narrow ones. I have not used the big wide bandit types so I cant compare with those larger ones.
I hits smooth even when your draw might be too hard and you can pretty much tell what the needed draw strength should be. The larger area allows for plenty of cooling/soothing action and I felt no irritation of hotness from such small filtration. It is totally what I wish the vape came with. I would like to have one with a slight bend in the end of the mp so I do not have to lean my head over it when I draw. You want to keep it fairly level to use the water well.
But, you might get a little water on the lips if you do the "first draw upside down" deal like me. Just go slow and do not draw very hard at all on the first upside down hit. I keep a little napkin rolled up smaller than a q-tip end to wipe out the MP if and when that happens. That is the only time I got water on my lips after using this thing for a few days now.
I really like using my argo with this bubbler. I am happy I took the chance on it!
420EDC done hooked me up with a free WPA with my 2 bubbler order.... Thanks so much
