Arcadia Longmada Motar Quartz Bowl 510 Thread for Rosin

Looks like you have a monster mod. It would probably tip over my little 1-cell mods...

Ya, it is kind of a ridiculous thing. 4 batteries. Heavy. Definitely not pocket-friendly. Couldn't get it to run the 'my evic' firmware. But, it can hold a mini bubbler with ease and with 4 batts I can hit this mod for days so it's got that going for it.

You are probably right that this bubbler is too much for a one cell mod. I was curious so I tried it. I could get it to work if I oriented the bubble one way, but stability was iffy at best.

Not to be too much of a bubbler slut, but I found another one that I like better. I just unboxed and used the Poseidon V2. I'm pretty psyched about how well it works and I wanted to tell someone.

I like this style mouthpiece better. I like that it's a 2 piece design. I'm kind of a lazy ass, so quick easy cleaning is important to me. The other bubbler's design makes it top heavy and it has a tendency to sag when on the mod. This new one doesn't do that due to the different design and that the glass to mod connection is a hair tighter. The Poseidon definitely hits really nicely. I get better rips out of it than with the other one actually.

Not saying the other bubbler isn't decent. I just like the Poseidon better. It's not perfect, though. It's $35 instead of the $15 that the other one costs. And I don't have that amber glass marble on top of the chamber just because it looks cool. The steel cap that comes with the Poseidon won't work with the Motar because the bucket sits too high. The marble works well because it's hand made and not perfectly round so I can spin it around on the chamber to change the airflow. You can also use a silicone cap from a dab container to cover the chamber.

I just finally got myself one of these .... hadn't had much time to play with it (been dealing with water in my basement from snow melt for 2 weeks :( )

Anyways ... these settings seem to be working great for me w/ TCR and a DNA250C device.

- My resistance measured at .385 ohms (not locked as recommended on DNA devices)
- Wattage 20W
- Material created a TCR 205 (after trying from 175 to 315 that's what I settled on)

Great awesome clouds, no burning and cleans up nice (little distilled water boiled in there for 100% clean)

The one thing I don't like is everything goes to the sides with the design, but I'm sure that's what happens with the Sai you just can't see it!

Anyways ... big thumbs up for this one .. it's a contender with the Sai Quartz bucket :)

Yep I love mine still on the same atomizer though I've only used it maybe 30 times. 20-25w is what I run mine at.

I try and clean the dish with water more frequently to keep the buildup down now a days. This was after like 4 loads only dry swabbing.

If they could find a way to keep the oil down in the cup that would make a great difference in efficiency.

I have several of these, and apart from the oil kreeping up the wall of the cup it works ok.

Maybe a biefier heater might be welcome too?

I've been using water to clean the cup out like psychonaut and it does wok really well. I have 2 atomizer cups that I switch off and on and they are the only 2 I own and have been using the almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day for months. They both appear to work fine so far.

I've been using the Poseidon V2 bubble exclusively and am pleased with its performance. This is a great little setup for grabbing a few quick dabs without dragging out the rig and the torch. I am still digging it.

I know this is an older thread, but it influenced my decision to buy the Longmata Motar and I wanted to add my 2 cents for the next guy scouring the net researching this device. The's not much out there.

I paired the Motar with a big 4 battery brick I had kicking around and I am digging it. I have the RX300 at 24W which is working out nicely. A BB-ish sized dab gets me 3 or 4 milky hits. I've only had it for 2 days at this point, but so far I am pleased with it, especially for the $22 USD it cost me. It's nice to be able to do a quick dab without dragging out the rig and the torch.

I've got a pico75w can you recommend some settings for the best hits on the Motar?

Hi all ... I've got a Pico 75w and the Motar quartz w/bubbler attachment. Can anyone point me in the direction of the best settings for the Motar? TC TCR Watts resistance etc etc ... A chart or something I'm thinking there should be one by now. Thanks!

I just love this Motar quartz bucket. It just seems to fluctuate too much with inconsistent dabs ... some are tasty and awe inspiringly beautiful lol and most are meh with a small puddle of cooked oil leftover.. theres gotta be settings that dial it in most everytime!

Smaller dabs will help. The terps are going to vaporize in the first hit or two even at 20w which is a reliable setting for flavor and performance. Think about it like on a nail. If you load a big dab the flavors going to progessively get worse as you finish vaporizing the oil, exact same concept here.

Okay so I postponed writing my review for a long while, as this vape was very low priority for me, at least the clone that I got.

So I have the IVEID version with the short straight mouthpiece. I think I got it from DHgate for very cheap. At first I was happily surprised to see that the glass top has a built-in splatter guard, so that contrasted to what was said previously about eating globs... but then upon closer inspection, I realized I only got a clone and not the real deal.

I guess the top glass is okay, the heater/cup assembly looked okay too. But when I disassembled it, I noticed the silicone joint at the bottom of the heater, and I bloody hate silicone. I also noticed that the IVEID is a bottom airflow atty (there are 4 holes in the 510 base, which leads to a space below the heater. Then the heater base also has a few holes.... then the air goes... nowhere!

If you take the heater cup and try to blow into it, nothing escapes by the bottom... and since the top glass has no holes, just the mouthpiece... well it appears, unless I'm completely crazy that air doesn't enter the device anywhere in fact. You just create a vacuum when you draw, then air enters back through the mouthpiece.

This is weird but the good aspect is that the silicone joint is not really in the vapor path... But that whole heater and the way it's built under.. that doesn't instill confidence. I'm sure that if you overheat you could melt that silicone part.

I tested the device nonetheless and had a hard time getting TC to work. I found a setting, Nickel or derived if I recall correctly, that kinda worked. It overshooted a lot at first and made the coil glow bright, but when I released the trigger then retriggered shortly afterwards, it managed to more or less stabilize.

I got some good vapor but it was clear that the regulation was not very precise at all, taste was spoiled quite fast...

So in the end, I still prefer the VapeDynamics CeraWax atty, but it's not a panacea either. My concentrates use being quite low it's good enough for me, but I'm sure it would leave a lot of you wanting for more...

So all the DHGate ones are clones? Where do I have to buy from to get a genuine Motar?

I picked up one of these on dhgate from the most sold vendor for 22 us and free shipping. I really do believe it is genuine their contact email was at longmada dot com, and it came in the sealed wrapped box. Works decently but I have a complaint. The shape of the quartz bowl has large convex bump/post the middle that sort pushes the oil up to the walls. With the straight directional down airflow is less than ideal. Even at 20 watts I was finding I was getting a burnt flavor yet still hard having a hard time clearing even a small dab in one rip. I bought this at the same time as a divine tribe v4 quartz cup for a similar price and prefer that. The quartz bowl has a concave bottom instead. It's nice to be able to see the vaporization happening but the discreetness is lacking for public use. I am having difficulty with temperature control you need the wire glowing in watts to get it hot enough so TC seems to be out for my small brain. I prefer the dt for those reasons. Still probably going to experiment more with this one before writing it off but a little disappointed.

While I love my motar I have a one major gripe....... it's crack pipe appearance! Does anyone have a line on a simple and more discreet mouth piece option? I have the genuine motar, flat bottomed with the glass pipe fitting and it would be my go to for out and about if the pipe part wasn't so visual.

A good friend of mine has a vape shop so I might go and see if he has any options that fit and still allow good airflow but sealed tight.

Other than that maybe a Sai TAF is my next investment but I only dab small amounts so I think the Sai would eat my bb size blobs alive!
