Anvil by Vestratto

So is the consensus here regarding the Blazer Firefox that it just heats to quickly and isn't the best choice for the Anvil? Or are there other reasons that I'm not aware of that make it a poor choice. The Blazer PT-4000 and pb207 seem to be getting all the love here and preferred torches. Any input would be appreciated.

Will do. I used to have a pb207 but it broke. I really liked that. I'd think it would work really well too. Probably gonna get that again and a Firefox. The pencil torch just looks so cool. Gonna try and eventually find a case for that and the anvil
let me know about the case if you find one. i have that same torch

I have to admit, dissatisfaction with torches is what turned me off to butane vapes. I must have gone through a dozen of them which sputter, produce an ungodly large flame, or just don't work. I've looked into as many of the "fix your torch" videos as I can stand. But, damn, the Anvil just looked too good! In anticipation I bought a Blazer PT4000 pencil torch and, I hate to say, it's been a little disappointing – very little adjustment on the flame, but I think it will work. (My Anvil should be here "in four to ten business days".) I do have two pocket torches which Mendocino Therapeutics (Lotus) sold that still work but I wanted something a bit more durable and, honestly, the pencil torch seems a bit chintzy. But I know it'll iron out sooner or later. If worse comes to worse I have an old "built-like-a-truck" Bernzomatic pencil torch which has to be ignited with a match or striker – it's never given me a bit of trouble but it's sort of a pain to use!

Idk my pt-4009 flame adjustment is very noticeable, flame gets a lot bigger on max
Same with mine. It has a bigger flame adjustment then my pb207 did.

So does anyone ever use dual flame? I found a cool lighter that is more for cigars but has 2 precise jet flames that angle and meet in the middle at a point. Also it takes butane canisters instead of having a butane fuel tank. (I'm describing it horribly) so here is a link lol

The Firefox doubles as a dab torch.
The PT is a decent portable. Reliable but I agree the torch adjustment suxx.
My old 3 flame one that came with my very first dynavap also works good.

They're all good - don't buy cheap!

hi
I’ve got 2 tubes both have the name and email address?
ones too short got it with founders so it’s an old one or type but they sent me a bottom half to replace it with the users free one,
fits but old logo? No top ,
anyone else notice the users is 2g lighter ,?
can tell in performance,
founders 45g
users 43g ?
hoped I’d prefer the new one and trying too but if I had to chose it would be founders at the moment,
Maybe just used to it,
have a lot of thoughts on this but for an other time ,

The founders has a solid bottom about an inch thick. I took a long drill bit and drilled it deeper so the anvil fits. I probably drilled out 2 grams of aluminum.

As promised by John Vestrratto, i received my free user edition today!. Improvements are great even if the now cult founder edition has nothing to envy to the new one, it was already a performer!
Now, It will be used to convince friends who are interested in vape...

Nice Glass piece. Looks great with that Anvil. Who makes those glass pieces? I haven't seen those before.

Well, I almost combusted. It partially did, but it didn't cherry. Super gross! Firefox with low flame directly on the battery is Not Recommended.
I had been hitting the middle of the oven with it with good results before this.

The avb looked a lot like the vids showing pyrolosis from the dabber switch? Black n muy skanky, I have the air valve set for some resistance, I pulled pretty good and think I lowered the pressure enough for it to do that? Idk, I hit the Rio after that, maybe I'm off a bit

How often does one clean their units? I can taste drop in terpene/flavors as soon as the 3rd bowl in dynavaps, reason for me having 3-5 in rotation at any point (cleaning) to deal with this.

Hi,
yeah I know cause their same length that was too help cool ,now ?
the 2g I was talking about the ANVIL itsself not the tube ,sorry for misleading
the actual vape is 2 g lighter ,could feel it as soon as I pick them up together ,then weighed them ,then bowls lighter also ,,
maybe just mine nut don’t think so when I look at other pics ,the copper core s are different on both versions ,
if you look at copper core on both the founders is thicker and you feel it heavier in hand ,the vape
both versions I like but they have a noticeable difference in performance ,not much but not for the better imo

Was this heat up shortly after a previous heat up? The battery holds heat from before. Then it gets slightly overheated by the time the clicker clicks.

When riding the line with the Blazer firefox or any torch, i would recommend aiming for a 30-35 sec click when heating the thermal battery. If it click faster than that you are going to risk the chance of combustion. You may need to heat with the outter blue flame when heating the battery, if you add too much heat it will over ride the thermal lag and combust. I prefer heating the center oven for 20 sec with the firefox style torches

Do you recommend a smaller torch like used on a sticky brick or dyna to RTL? I have an honest torch that gets smaller than the Firefox, just the flame adjustment is terrible lol
