New Sunday Post. Waitlist is done and new cap for the case coming that will fit the XL MP (at the expense of the extra bowl storage). The new cap has an improved magnet. Looks good.
Yeah, it certainly stings after the whole founders lot got a whole new vape for free to replace their already working vape. We physically can’t use our cases without that bit.Not impressed I have to spend $50 to get something for free when it should have been included or sent out after free of charge. I can’t believe I defended the case before. This nickel n dime shit needs to stop
Ngl, this is a pretty funny sentence but as a customer I'm really disappointed. The thing barely had any additional "utility" to begin with. Something like a debowling spike in the spare bowl chamber lid and a slightly longer tube would have been nice. Now it's just an expensive metal doob tube. And of course the new cap doesn't match the existing tube body, because why would it? Literally no other two visible parts of the Anvil match each other already, lol. This evolution of the utility tube focuses on the “tube” functions.
I see the appeal. 45 seconds is not very long, and battery life is fine for me. Not only do I find it "practical", I also find it "enjoyable".I guess I don’t see as much appeal to induction heating this vape. Seems like it would take a long time and have poor battery life. It would be much more practical to heat it up in a tabletop convection toaster oven, perhaps underneath a frozen pizza and tray of French fries.
No you do not. You can loosely pack the regular full bowl.Do I really need the half bowl for micro dosing? I seem to be having good performance from half filled regular bowl. Those with both bowls have any input?
the new cap will be anodized black. I also hope that we can get the old cap with the centered magnet, I absolutely despise the off centered magnet, horrible experience using it every time.Ngl, this is a pretty funny sentence but as a customer I'm really disappointed. The price is the price, and I won't write an essay on it, but I don't have to like it
Do we know if the standard tube cap going to get the upgraded magnets too? It would be imo prohibitively cheesy if not, but the Anvil not coming with a magnet of any kind is already a fondue experience, so I feel like nothing is off limits
I loosely pack the half chamber. There’s no real difference other than temptation.Do I really need the half bowl for micro dosing? I seem to be having good performance from half filled regular bowl. Those with both bowls have any input?
I aim upward. Starting at the middle ring for my first cycle. Aim starting at the gap above the bottom battery for my second heat cycle, while still favouring the middle ring.the perfect heating method, by aiming the flame on the bottom battery but slightly upward so that the middle ring also gets a bit of heat.
You can use the regular bowl. I think i get better extraction if I use a half bowl amount of flower in the regular bowl. That's why I ordered the xl bowl too: for micro dosingDo I really need the half bowl for micro dosing? I seem to be having good performance from half filled regular bowl. I'd love to have a flame free option, but I don't think IH heating is the way to go. I can imagine a kind of rest for the Anvil, like sneaky pete's chopstick rest for the dynavap, but with a small flexible heating surface, covered in copper. On the idea of induction heating an Anvil, I’m not so sure I agree with those saying it isn’t that important.
Me for example, I use my devices 90% outdoors in the British weather - an IH has often been a vital bit of kit here. You simply wouldn’t be able to use a torch in a lot of situations here, and on long walks a bit of wind shelter isn’t always guaranteed.
Also repeatable results. I’ve mostly got my torch dialled but it will never be as simple and easy to repeat as “Drop in heater. Wait for click.”
Finally, for medical guys. It might surprise some of you, but people with dexterity issues can really struggle with even the simplest of torch.
We can have frozen Pizza AND an IH I’m sure
This seems reasonable to me. Something like the Station for the Vapman. Although I think the Anvil works best as designed with a good torch.I'd love to have a flame free option, but I don't think IH heating is the way to go. It's all about: how do you heat the copper heat sink. To my mind: not indirectly with IH. Either the oven design needs to change, to pair it with an IH or a heater element directly heats the Anvil heatsink. I can imagine an IH and accompanying dedicated oven. The other option would be a flexible heating element or some such. This seems reasonable to me. Something like the Station for the Vapman. Glad you're getting consistent, good results. Do you not have a Ronx yet? First click should be enough if you're not languishing with a single flame that's too short to click on the battery in 25 seconds or lessthe new cap will be anodized black. I also hope that we can get the old cap with the centered magnet, I absolutely despise the off centered magnet, horrible experience using it every time.
on a side note, I would like to add that I have fund the perfect heating method, by aiming the flame on the bottom battery but slightly upward so that the middle ring also gets a bit of heat... I have not combusted yet, and I can comfortably wait for the second click.
I have been using the half bowl non stop, haven't really used my full bowl much, as mentioned above, the smaller half bowl runs a bit hotter and I can fully extract every time, with ease.
lastly, my Flowerpot B1 has gone mostly unused since anvil arrived, I am hoping the eNano XL will replace it
O HELL YEA!!
I was debating between the Ronx and the Blazer FF when I initially purchased the anvil. I got the blazer because Ive had experience with them, and I know for sure its going to last a very long time without any issues like sputtering, or turning on at first click. No issues with the Firefox yet, I have been using it every single day, 5-10 times a day. Once I get a second anvil I am definitely getting a Ronx! back to the anvil I go!Glad you're getting consistent, good results. Do you not have a Ronx yet? First click should be enough if you're not languishing with a single flame that's too short to click on the battery in 25 seconds or less
Where did you buy those pieces from? Super cool. How does the the anvil fit into the wood piece? Can you provide a link to everything you need to have that same set up. Totally awesome!!!!!!
