Sorry... I dont currently own the Fury 2....I was going to order one... but here in Canada there was a bit of a price difference between the two.... so I took a chance on the cheaper one in the Ambit and imho I think I made the right choice.
There was someone who posted earlier in this thread that has tested both and if I remember correctly he liked the Ambit better.
Heathyrips has a much better customer service and even if their products are rebranded... they tweak theirs a bit and users who have purchased them give them great reviews.
Another vape that is a rebranded fury 2...that @PlanetOfTheVapes created with their own tweaks called The One is cheaper also and users love that one too.
That all being said.... I've been using the Ambit for a few weeks now and just love it... its such a great quick hitter for out and about
I have the Fury 2 and the Ambit. Fury 2 runs cooler, conserves flavor better. Ambit runs hot and is great for fast, heavy extraction. Both are great. It will be interesting to see how Vivant handles any issues with the Ambit. For a convection based vape, the Ambit is hard to beat for the price.

my mistake... I thought it was a gap... but when I cleaned it with a qtip last night... it was just the way the plastic went against the cylinter... also the when the lid goes on... the screen unit in the mouth pies goes past it... so it's all good...

The Fury 2 dosing capsules fit perfectly in the Ambit. No noticeable effect in performance, still generates massive vapor at same temp. Super stealth loading, use, and storage. Using 385 temp I only have been getting 3-4 sessions with mine before needing to be charged. ABV is fully cooked out, and I am baked after 1 capsule.
I thought you may have had this trouble;
So not all 'Hacks' can be recommended.

Not natively, but since the Fury glass bits work just fine with the ambit then yes. It'll microdose well with the F2 bits. I like using the F2 bubbler dry with the ambit. Water is pointless with that bit anyway.

My ambit is dead. It turns on but will not heat. On the screen it displays no heater when I try to power up the heat. Not sure what happened. Didn’t really do nothing but use it.

Forgot to mention I got my WPA. At higher temps the foul taste comes back and is even worse. I don’t know if this needs more burn off at high temps to get rid of it or if it’s just a side effect of a hot burning Kanthal coil. Either way I’m not inclined to use it at high temps again.

I'd like this, but that's not cool. Mine's holding up, but with very light use as my Ambit fits a small niche for me and does not get daily use. Let us know how you make out with Vivant

@ginolicious, contact them & ask them if they would extend you the courtesy of replacing it & you'll send the beta back to them. After all, you did beta test for them & you've spoken well of their product on this thread. I do have to say that Focusvapes & Grinders For Life upped the anti in that everyone who beta-tested rec'd a production model. Did HR do this with the Fierce & Fury 2? I think all retailers should do this.

My votes for the kanthal. Many think it has a metallic taste due to it's iron composition. Google does kanthal have a taste.

just got mine today.
great price and shipment from PlanetVape.
haven't tested it yet.
it feels half cheap half well made..
stinks from factory smells.
did 3 cycles but hard to get rid of.
the mouthpiece magnet is nice.
but the mouthpiece itself feels too cheap (should i say, unsafe?)
these are the real differences that cost more. the F2 is well made all around.
the oven indeed lights up the whole chamber.
i did notice the oven turned itself off in the middle of the cycle
and then turned back on after a few seconds.
seems too sophisticated for this device...
