I recommend contacting with support right after a purchase, I did and they replied in no time that they will include the improved mouthpieces in my shipment.

I ordered mine in the UK so I don’t think I can do anything about it apart from spending more money to buy a new mouthpiece.

I’m actually really disappointed that the mouthpiece is such a bad fit.

I tried attaching the WPA and as soon as I done that the vaporizer fell as the mouthpiece just doesn’t stay in place.
No matter how many times I tried, the mouthpiece leaned over and then the vaporizer fell out. ( I tested it without the battery so imagine what it would be like with the added weight 🫣)

I chose this vaporizer as I wanted to use concentrates via the WPA but I’ve got no chance of doing that as I’m not gonna risk smashing my glass.

*Goes back to using the Angus*

And someone on here had the cheek to say I’m on AirVapes payroll 🙄😂

I believe you could contact the rep and they will give you a better mouthpiece? Hopefully they fixed it because that was a turn off for me also since I knew the WPA would be useless or very annoying without a good mouthpiece.

Hopefully they get all this figured out just seems still like too many issues to work out for me to invest now so hopefully the rep talks to the manufacturer about this?

I also came from a dynavap + Wand daily driver so now that I own the ALP I can tell you that you won't be disappointed.

It is definitely a messy vape and I give mine a wipe down every other loading but I think it's worth it. Will be difficult to reload in public without the dosing capsules that are supposedly coming Dec 15 but if the capsules don't degrade performance it could be a great portable. You'd need a tabletop and a funnel otherwise unless your hands are super steady.

What I like about this vape is the versatility. Here's what I've found so far:

- Microdosing works great, you don't need a full bowl
-Fine grind + light tamp full bowl = crazy clouds at temps above 390F. Hits hard like the dyna except bowl is 3x the size. You can finish 0.3g bowl in 3 hits or less. Start at 300F and work your way up if you want a longer sesh with super tasty hits.
-Coarse grind or even crumbled nugs work great and can be more forgiving for heat and harshness if you use higher temps. The unit extracts very well under all sorts of conditions but the downside is lots of stickiness to wipe down. Crumbling nugs is quicker and less messy for reload and cleanup (my favorite right now but I still use a funnel) but I still can't say it'd be easy to do this on-the-go. Also, I get the impression the unit isn't fragile but not as rugged as a dyna for sure. More discreet than the wand though and the hits are cooler.

Everything else is great, battery, charging etc. Very nice vape.
Just wanted to put my 2-cents in, I also use dynavap everyday with induction heater. I kept looking for something that can last a bit longer. I am an old fart and luckily I can afford to try new items after reading/watching and research. I’ve had my ALP for 3-months, when I ordered it I had heard about the mouthpiece issues and was assured I would receive both (I did) along with an extra battery and WPA (I ordered). It was a bit messy with the dosing wheel but when the screen suggestion came out it’s been a game changer. Very easy cleanup with alcohol wipes. I just ordered the Xlux Roffu yesterday on sale since it looked really interesting. Once dosing caps come in, this will be my main unit…for now. I have the Crafty+, Ghost MV1, Sticky Brick and many others.

I would love to hear your feedback between the legacy pro and ROFFU when you get that device. I was trying to decide between them too I ended up going with the ROFFU just because the ease of use packing a bowl in public or somewhere I want to be more discreet. That's one thing I love about the mighty and similar

Will do, did you receive the Roffu yet? If so, thoughts/impressions?

Hi Sue, I'm in the UK too. My legacy pro had the older bad fitting mouthpiece also when it arrived. I contacted Gary airvape on here via pm and he sent me out a new better fitting mouthpiece free of charge.

Just send them a message and they'll help.

I have the newer mouthpiece (I'm assuming as it fits tightly lol). I also have the WPA/bubbler and it works amazing. I wouldn't leave it standing up on a table by itself but I've had no issues with it being too loose etc.
I've had my unit for just over a week and love every bit of it. I do agree that loading it can be a bit messy at times but not so messy it bothers me. I also use the screen trick and cleanup up is a breeze (I have removed the small screen covering the airpath). After 3-4 bowls I use a Q-tip and iso to wipe out the bowl, the airpath opening and the dosing disk.

Picked up some live resin last night and decided to throw the concentrate pad in the legacy pro for the first time since I got the device a few months ago.

Damn man I forgot how nice this vape is for concentrate.

I turned the temp up to max and loaded a FAT dab onto the pad. It took a few rips to get it going and then it was just thick, satisfying vapor for about 3 minutes. Definitely a nice way to really enjoy your dab slowly and still gets me just basically as blazed as ripping the rig and quartz banger.

Love this vape so much.

I feel like it really shines with on demand and concentrates, session mode I think is more satisfying on a mighty but it ain't bad on the alp either.

This vape really is incredibly versatile.

I've been split over three different vapes in the last week based on the Black Friday deals.

My Arizer Air broke a few months ago so I decided to wait until the Black Friday deals came around.

Originally I was set on getting the POTV xmax v3 because it looked similar to the Air and was cheap. But then folks on reddit said to go for the solo 2 however this isn't portable, especially when traveling for camping, etc. I did almost pull the trigger but then I keep hearing about the ALP and how its comparable to the Mighty... decided to wait and see what they had for Black Friday and pulled the trigger on the BOGO deal! (Gonna sell one of them).

I am very excited to get it in the mail (ordered on Friday morning at 2am lol - hopefully it comes in this week!)

Any tips for me? What seems to be the easiest way to load the vaporizer? I am used to using the glass stem / dynavap to scoop the weed in (without touching with my hands)

Whats the temp difference between the mighty and the ALP on session mode? Like, How hot is the vapor?

I've just purchased one as I've been really wanting a replaceable battery session vape that i can take out and about and I'm bored of my mighty+ and my Tubo dual is not very portable and a little bored of it anyway.

I had ordered a toad in august that was meant to be 2 months till delivery which now turned into 5 months so my VAS as well and truly won again.

I bought the ALP with the waterpipe attachment and the very cool glass stem with Balls in it.

If you bought it direct all you have to is email customer service with a request and order number to get a replacement. I guess they might want to see a jpg of an invoice or receipt if you bought it elsewhere. Or you could buy a new one like I did when I ordered extra screens and gaskets 🙃

《EDIT》
Oh, and I forgot, anyone looking for a case should look at the Arizer cases. Pretty smellproof, good fit for the device and supplies, and hey, you get the choice of hard-sided or soft-sided

does anyone have a picture difference of new mouthpiece vs old?

mine falls out easily if I pocket the vape and move around but I can't imagine how a new mouthpiece would suddenly change that.

also just another poster waiting for the dosing capsules to make life way easier. luckily all signs point to soon.

My understanding is the only difference is the snugness of the fit. I have the new one, as it takes a good amount of force to remove. The old one would easily pull out.

It's not the mouthpiece, per se, but the silicon piece. The bad one's too small in a teeny tiny amount and the shape slightly off. Probably because the material shrank a bit too much when cooling.

My WPA landed today and although it makes the loose mouthpiece issue worse it’s definitely a worthwhile addition.

I have an Orbiter from Magic Flight with glass mouthpiece rather than a whip and even without water it makes it possible for my rubbish lungs to rip through a bowl in 2 or 3 decent cloud’s at 210c or enjoy the terps for a couple of tasty puffs down at 175c before upping the temp to finish the bowl.

I’m impressed overall so far with the Pro, it’s definitely not perfect but I don’t think perfection really exists, if it did why would anyone try to do anything different again!

:peace:

P.s. messaged Gary about the mouthpiece and as expected he is putting things right - top work

Hey, hi !
Load it with your "favorite botanicals" on a small cardboard (like a buisness card fold)… easyest way to do it ! OR you could just throw full nugs lightly "finger grinded"/Crushed in it ! Both works flawlessly and are VERY clean to use.

DO bother to try to use mesh instead of gold plated screens to get a "cleaner" working device (that way, you'll get less reclaim stuck on the gold screen… i use only one mesh screen on top of the bowl for instance, inbetween the "microdoser's disk" and the oven.)

Remove the small one that goes straight to the glass tube and you're good to go ! Just try and figure out what's best for your use and liking's

If you wan't to have the cleanest vape as possible, just dump your herbs as soon as you end up your sess'.
That way it never stays in the oven cooked and it doesn't spill all over the place ;)
