AirVape Legacy Pro

Greetings, a few days ago...I dropped my vape in the toilet and it stopped working. At that time...I offered to the board my vape to take apart. I did not have any PM indicating that anyone was interested. My son in law came by and took it to fix it. He does not vape or know anything about vapes. I gave it to him. If he winds up not fixing it...I will offer it back to the board. He will not destroy it. He isn't a child. He is careful. I went ahead and ordered a NEW vape. The sale is outrageous and I managed to get a 50% off discount because of their UPGRADE program. I own other Legacy's that enabled this...if I did not have another Legacy the sale is amazing as well...Bernadette over at the company helped me with all of this and the customer service is ace.
Good to hear that you're getting a new one! And too bad for us none of us replied to your post in time :D I´m always down to do teardowns :)

Capsules should be available on mid Dec.

BF deal is already out; read back in this forum, it will be 100 USD off. In Europe as well. I assume it is the best to order, but I will let you know Custom held up many packages recently. If you want the unit fast, local dealers are the best shot.

When does the black Friday sale start? Friday?

Is there anyway to visually tell if my mouthpiece is the old or new model?

And also, I was using my ALP for the first time with the bong today, used a whip to connect to the mega globe. But in the middle of the session, 230 celsius, the vape turned off with like 3 minutes left on session mode. I tried two more times and it happened again two times.

I took off the whip and used it normally and it was working fine, any ideia what could it be?

That is a great question...I do notice on mine. It is super snug. I have to give it a good thumb push and that thing DOES NOT come out easy whatsoever. I have seen like when George had his review yesterday...his mouth piece came out super easy...so, it got me to wonder if he had the newer model...I wish he would re-review it. I love George from Vapefiend. He did not mention my FAVORITE part other than flavor....wireless charging...BINGO! Sold! Love it.

if it doesnt move physically iirc for a minute it turns off. I asked about it awhile ago on here.

** it's 3 minutes** it's in the manual

Thing is I'm in brazil so not sure what batch they are selling here, mine it's snug but I feel like it will come off easily if it gets stuck in my pocket or something like that
contact airvapeusa
do not know if it will help because of your location

Has anyone used the wax pad with concentrates?. Is it any good?.

Also what batteries do you use?. The place I buy my batteries don’t sell 3200mAh.
My best friend has used the wax pad successfully...I have not tried it. The battery I use is the one it came with...I got an extra one.
18650BatteryStore.com is where I buy batteries in general. My Pro currently is using the battery that says LEGACY on it from their website.

I have used the wax pad and it works very well. I have used wax and shatter and have no complaints.
I use a Samsung 30q battery, $13.99 from my local vape shop. The battery has to be a minimum of 10a or higher. So far no issues at all. I charge it on an external battery charger.

As usual a weed vape is not optimal for trates
But this liquid pad does work better than others I've tried
I think it is the looser weave letting more air through

Any battery that is rated at 10a draw or higher will do
The mah is not the thing to match
It's the amp draw

What component are you eluding to but not mentioning?
Until it's opened we don't know if the heater is in the path - but we do what it's made of if you read this thread fully or ask via email and it's safe
Afaik all has been answered to us openly so far - especially via email

What I am not aware of is the "part" you don't trust
As for the mighty - the medically cert ones used to only go to 360° until more recently and the others went to 410
Make of that what you will - plus the melting hybrid chambers they had to fix

My hinge has been sturdy as so far with a lot of opening and closing for what it's worth
“Trust but verify”. gotta always be on the lookout for black swan type situations, which is why companies/products that have been out for years have all those issues sorted out by the time you decided to buy it like the aluminum dust issue, or the product is not recommended via word of mouth bc they never address the problem.

since this is a relatively new product Im just waiting for a full tear down for peace of mind. Although theres a low likelihood there’s anything really wrong with the AVLP since there’s a lifetime warranty and it’s an improved version of a previous product.

The aluminium dust wasn't sorted before you buy
It happened to customers, as did the melted plastic

Your message didn't respond to anything I asked? Or the ratings of their med cert
What parts are you suspicious of? Or you think have been withheld?

And if people read this thread in full you'll see I am one who loves teardowns and transparency - bring back Randy
But I see other vapes not getting near the scrutiny I've seen here and some of them have massive followings and more suss parts

Yup, I love transparency and knowing what is in my vapes
All for it

I see more people alluding to things they don't know though - and no one grabbed the unit @Dr. G offered for teardowns
Maybe they should have typed less and grabbed the unit to look at if this was the priority
Then it would be there for all to see by now

No the aluminum dust/plastic was found out by consumers and then reported, which was then fixed. That’s what I’m talking about, if they never fixed the aluminum dust/plastic issues it wouldnt have survived being a recommended product to this day.

i really don’t know how to respond to the medical certification other than if they're not medically certified there should be a class action lawsuit and there isn't, so thats good enough for me. the mighty medic vape has been confirmed by users here to be the same as the consumer model. I really don’t care about the past models that are no longer available for sale that only went to 360.

im not worried about other vapes with suss parts bc I’m not looking to buy them. I’m mainly looking at this and the mighty.

as for the part I was worried about, idk if it was a "part" or part of the air path but this was the post that has given me pause. it started off talking about the spinning screen.
Please dont say that you'll offer more than 30% off :D

How come it's only for internal use? That's a stupid move from the companys side in my opinion. Feels like there is something to hide when companies dont want to disclose these kind of things, not saying that this is the case but I wont take anyones word until I can verify it myself. I´ll be shelfing the unit unit I know 100% whats in the internals and how the air is routed and through/over what, Feel that this is something any vape company should disclose. We are breathing through your device and we want to know that it's 100% safe to do so.

Maybe I´ll do a teardown of the device and post here, then it really doesnt matter if you disclose it or not ;) Just have to have the time for it :D But I have a strong opinion that this info should be shared by the company otherwise.. well we can all draw conclusions.
I dont know how to do teardowns, that’s unfortunate no one offered to do the teardown. You’re giving off some unpleasant vibes though with your passive aggression and whataboutism ("this vape doesn't have a teardown" "what about those other vapes that have bigger followings and suss parts??????")

Have a good night sir/ma'am/non-binary formal address

Lol
You are the one who just acted extremely passive aggressive

I simply asked what you keep eluding to but not mentioning
You keep saying "one part " has not been answered
What part?

And what do you mean about a spinning screen? Lol
What is your issue with the oven screen moving?

Your messages are not very clear
And you have been the bad vibe and passive aggressive in this case
Wow mate
Learn how to relay information clearly - and how to not be upset at a message on a forum that didn't attack you in any way shape or form

You're the one who "what about ism" with raising the S&B stuff
Contradictory behaviour twice in one post
Congrats

A comparison between the only two vapes I’m considering to buy isn’t a whataboutism, it’s a comparison. Is it illegal to compare vapes in threads now? Rhetorical question.

I answered all the other questions as truthfully as I could, I associated the bottom spinning screen post with the “lack of a proper teardown” post.

Idk what else to say but thank you for giving me a reason to block you.
