Turn you oven heat temp setting up to 426F in session mode or even higher up to 464F in "on demand" mode. Your hit will be warm as you can stand, i suspect. lolCan anything be taken out of the ALP to get hotter hits? Don't like too cool of hits, I need a little heat in the throat tbh. Thanks alot.
Edit: To be a little clearer, I don't want hot hits.....but I do like some heat there, and the talk is always how there doesn't seem to be much at all, if any. I'm hoping that's atleast a smidge from many's honeymoon stage talking there.
I can absolutely do that!!even higher up to 464F in "on demand" mode.
On demand 464 is not at all hotI can absolutely do that!!
pictures or guide video of this procedure, would be helpful and informative to alp communityOn demand 464 is not at all hot
Use a decent draw strength and you get great clouds and amazing taste with big hits
It is like a mini Plenty like this, flavourful
If you want better performance and airflow also (plus keeps everything cleaner) remove the small gold screen all together - useless and gets clogged quickly
Put a mighty screen (or 16mm) over the bowl - open the dosing disc to at least half way or more
When I get dosing caps I will remove this disc all together also
This will make it perform better and produce better clouds - that may help your throat tickle a little
I still find this a very smooth vape, I always like big hits and usually like using water with most vapes - I use the ALP dry
I can't upload pics herepictures or guide video of this procedure, would be helpful and informative to alp community
You can absolutely run that amount. It's a good-sized bowl that offers plenty of flexibility, for microdosing or macrodosing. This may be a dumb question, but I have a very low tolerance and typically use about .03g in my DynaVap ad was wondering if this device would be able to do like .03g or if it would be too little
How long will the $100 discount code last on AirVape Legacy Pro Vaporizer last? WC is the code but do not know when it expires.
Just say'n we have the biggest promotion running right now via NYTimes-Wirecutter
The Best Portable Vaporizer
Experts, enthusiasts, and new cannabis users alike agree that the Pax Plus is a superb portable vaporizer.www.nytimes.com
It is the cheapest way to get the PRO for a week...

Does anyone know if the POTV model of the XMAX V3 Pro (40% more battery) is interchangeable with the AirVape Legacy Pro? - I know that is is different than the Stock V3 Pro battery which may be strong enough for the AVLP.. looking for confirmation on this thoughThe NYT article failed to mention that the PAX 3 is a conduction vaporizer, while the AirVape is convection. Correct me if if wrong, but I just saw specs listing PAX's heating method as conduction. Only.
Convection is far superior to conduction, and the AirVape is superior to the PAX in this very important regard.
Just placed an order for a Legacy Pro with the WC code and received the full $100 discount. Sweeet.
The battery of the potv version is just a 18660 with more mAh. I think standard 18660 v3pro battery has around 2600mAh…so the new battery has to be similar to the ALP battery…Does anyone know if the POTV model of the XMAX V3 Pro (40% more battery) is interchangeable with the AirVape Legacy Pro? - I know that is is different than the Stock V3 Pro battery which may be strong enough for the AVLP.. looking for confirmation on this though (says it’s a 18650 3200 mAh Battery)
What cooling unit exactly are you asking about?Sorry for asking a similar question about the vapor temperature, but I'll ask this instead........can the cooling unit be removed in any way? Thanks.
The only cooling "unit" is a series of bends designed into the vapor path. You could remove the mouth piece and draw directly on the body I suppose. Otherwise, that's a very cool "no" there, teacup!Sorry for asking a similar question about the vapor temperature, but I'll ask this instead........can the cooling unit be removed in any way? Thanks.
I think the ALP is perfect with its battery. But in the v3pro the battery change is notoriously noticeable. Just try it. (and with that said that I'm not going to mention the v3pro anymore here).18650 li-ion 10 amp battery should be fine but nothing less.
these 2 units do not draw more than 10 amps, so why go higher with battery amperage?
that how i understand it until some expert's knowledge, proves otherwise. lol
I tried another battery once to see how it performsHi,
So the battery thing: Once again, I can only say the following: Please use the battery we give to the device to ensure a warranty.
You can change it and use a different battery, but only at your own risk! We do not recommend any other battery.
That is the official part, and in my private opinion, there is a previous discussion on this thread, and some well-educated battery guys talking about possible changes. Please read back
The warranty is a cash grab for people to only use and buy their rewrapped batteries. Kind of shows what kind of company this is if they can't tell you what max amperage discharge is the battery or what is the recommended or min max amperage is needed to safely use this device.I tried another battery once to see how it performs
The Sony vtc6
It was slightly more powerful with a little darker avb
The improvement or difference is not enough to make me risk my warranty and I continue to use the legacy battery as a result since
As mentioned above by @kokolokokolokon though with the v3pro the performance is more noticeable between batteries
Whilst I agree that it would be good for them to let us know what specs the battery uses, and think we should be able to use other brand batteries that meet the same specs without affecting the warranty - like other vapes that have a removable batteryThe warranty is a cash grab for people to only use and buy their rewrapped batteries. Might as well made it where you couldn't swap the battery at all like the mighty
