Injuries are one thing, but how you respond to them is another. Do you take the appropriate time off of the activity to heal? A lot of people who are addicted to physical activity flat out refuse to stop despite being told by a doctor that they need to take weeks/months off to heal up. That's where it becomes an unhealthy mindset...when you can't stop despite it being clear to everyone other than you, that you should.I don't know anything about him specifically but I can imagine someone who does this kind of activity will have a long list of injuries. I ride bikes myself and do some street/bmxy type things, nowhere in this guy's league but I feel it does satisfy some "need". If I couldn't do that then I'd probably do road cycling or something. I think it's a stretch to call it addiction but I can see how it could satisfy some addicive tendencies.
I wonder where he is getting that number. That's quite a bit of Cannnabis. I can feel residual fogginess during the day, from vaporizing the night before, and that's only ~0.5g. I consider that a side effect. Not a terrible one, but one nonetheless.Well my doctor said anything below 2 grams a day is fine. On another note only 6 percent of people actually become addicted to cannabis, true study. Remember addiction only becomes a problem when it affects how you function in your daily life. If it is affecting your job and home life than it may be a problem. But better to be on cannabis than pharma drugs that would have a plethora of side affects. Like you said cannabis is one of the safest medicines out there to use with very little side affects and dependency. I can go on and off of cannabis easily unlike anti anxiety meds, and other heavy pain medications.
Also, 2g of bud is a very rough measurement, because you can get 10% or 25% THC bud, and the dose would be vastly different. If your doctor concerned about THC? CBD?
