After I left you, I did go to meet Sam and we had a wonderful meal on the west side of town on the water....then dabbed our brains out (well, my brains go rather quick!). Also, very nice to see your wife again, she is a lovely lady.

All - I did see the quartz bangers that @710Coils is working on. He had his early samples on hand and they are indeed beautiful.

As soon as they are in stock and on the site, I'm ordering a rig from him...25mm I think is good for me.

Awesome! Appreciate the quick reply. I need to get a compatible e-nail still, once I grab that I'll pick up a few of your coils and some of these bangers.

Since you seem able to source some pretty hard to find stuff, have you ever seen any flat coil bangers? I found one website selling such a banger which has a flat coil attached to the bottom, it looked cool.

@Blargas541 i will be carrying the axial coils and they are a flat coil combined with a barrel coil.
You get complete heat saturation and can enjoy lower temp dabs. @Shooby and a few others have been rocking them and can attest to their greatness .
You pair one of them with a quartz banger and you are in dab heaven.
I will also have barrel coils and they just don’t cover the bottom.
The one flaw to quartz is the high chance of breakage while you learn your way around it.

To use a flat coil, you would need a boss pin style bucket such as the e.ross.

But even e.ross doesn't use a flat coil and offers his bucket coils made by ezbake and now DC which is the same axial coils @710Coils is speaking of.

Would make things a lot clearer for people new to the (c)oil game.

@710Coil, I am planning on getting a 25mm set up, but you list only 24 and 26mm coils, how would this work? Will you have matching bubble caps available for the bangers that you will offer, and will they be mated to a coil before shipping if that is requested? I find it hard to find good 30 mm inserts so I am feeling like the 30 mm axial and banger set up might not be best over a long term. Do you have thoughts? Also, what controller would you pair with your coils? Would the Auber RDK 300 do the job? Thank you for your service, us medical patients appreciate good gear that keeps our lungs working for as long as they can

@sarkunit I have the 25mm barrel coils here: 25mm barrel. I dont have caps for sale yet. But the 25mm banger is a breeze to find a cap for. My bangers will have a beveled edge and that mates perfectly with a bubble cap of your liking. I can fit the coil to your banger and even toss you in a clip kit if you call it out in your order (Scouts honor) I will also be carrying 30mm Opaque bangers and they are other level when it comes to dabs. But the 30mm is a bigboy banger and can look obnoxious on smaller pieces =P

Bangers are looking to land Monday!!! that means I will have them up on my site by the evening and can start filling orders and shipping them out

I have one of each and rotate them out depending on the piece I am using. I know with the 30mm bangers, the little glass gram jars will fit perfectly inside a 30mm banger and several of my friends rock them for this very reason. They can get every last drop of goodness out of the jars without looking like Winnie the pooh
But you honestly cannot go wrong with either and you can always add the other size later on when the time is right =)

Axial Coil: A coil that covers both the side and the bottom of a banger. These can be a bit harder to fit at times, but give much more heat saturation since they heat from the sides and the bottom. These coils have been seen in 24, 26, and 30mm sizes

Barrel Coil: A coil that only heats the sides of a banger. These are the more common coil you see around and range in sizes from 16, 20, 24, 25, 26, and 30mm


Flat coil: A coil that only heats the bottom of the banger. These are also one of the more common coils you see and they only come in one size. But can be made in any size when specified. Current size seen: 26mm

Watts: Coils come in an assortment of watts ratings and this is mainly for the quality of the internal wires as the higher the watts. The hotter it is rated to go. I only carry 150 Watt coils and plan to improve this to 200 Watt by default at some point. Most coils sold are 100 to 125 Watts. This means the internal wires are not rated for higher prolonged heating and can degrade faster due to this. This is why I only carry 150 and plan to increase to 200 Watt. So the internal wires are as high a quality as possible.

Volts: There are only 2 volts out there right now 110 for US and 220 for International. Beyond this, the coils are the same

Oh man, that fitted axial looks beautiful. It's just right, and having opaque bottom quartz is what I am looking for. Thanks for the reply, I will make sure to shout it out in my order, but also if you need extra money for the mating of the coil and banger I fully understand. I wish everyone in the business did it like you, this reeks quality and high level service. I really appreciate that, because I am in retail as well. @sarkunit the opaque quartz is the truth

I get better vapor production than my SiC Halo. Despite the much higher thermal conductivity of silicon carbide, I think the bucket design of the quartz allows the oil to vaporize more efficiently than a trough style dish. There's more "direction" for the airflow to be pointed at to find an empty spot to conduct off of and vaporize.

Still loving my clip kit from 710coils, way better than wire wrap designs as it comes right off for easy cleaning access. Soaked in Simple Green and back at it!

I'm VASing for a sapphire insert but otherwise I can't hardly imagine a better tasting hit. Guess I need to try a terp pearl too though...

@710Coils when you get a chance could you post the Interior Diameters of your bangers?
Admittedly there may be a bit of variation between different bangers, but at least an approximate measurement would be good for pairing bangers with inserts.

The below specs I came up with were from all of my favorite bangers and the parts I really appreciated. Like the beveled edge. Why dont more glass makers do this???
I basically designed the ultimate enail banger for my globbing ways

Here is what I had them made to for reference:

1. Joint: 10mm/14mm

2. Type: Male joint

3. Dgree: 90 degree possibly some 45 degree

4. Joint Color: Frosted

5. Bottom Thickness: 5 to 6mm

6. Features: Beveled edge flat top

7. Banger OD: 25mm/30mm

8. Overall length of bucket: 36 to 38mm

9: Neck joint: Closer to the top than the middle

10: Bucket wall thickness: 2.5mm

The last samples had the following Inner Diameter:

25mm: 20 ish mm
30mm: 25 ish mm

This makes sense since the inner walls measure 2.5mm as we would double this to equal the above difference.

One revision I foresee is making the neck a little further out from the banger before it curves. This is a minor detail. But the type of thing I am looking for as the big items have been worked out already

I will keep you all posted on how they meet up to my specs and also will post pics so you can see the unicorns I have been speaking of

Opaque or quartz bottom option, Beveled Edges, Thick bottoms, high neck, smooth welds and made with GE214 standard quartz all for $40 or $45 shipped is a deal.. And you dont even charge more for a larger bucket!!! love that!

Wow is all I have to say. One question, I still do not see axials on the site. Are you able to get them, or is there a date when they will be available? I want to pair a 25 or 30 (what ever shooby and sab suggest, gonna use it with a insert, I have a cca obsidian 30 right now but am happy to purchase one with the new set up ) with an axial as I had said in a previous post, and now I will be buying quartz beads as well. Tested out the Opaque bangers yesterday and the beveled edge makes for such a nice seal on a ball cap. Today I test the clear bottom bangers and so far so good =)

I got full stock of everything and am shipping out daily. Sometimes making a few runs to the post office so peoples orders get to them sooner than later.
