Exciting News from Rite Innovations!

My best friend and I have been working on Rite Innovations for over 7 years, and this winter we’ll finally have our first 300 units ready for purchase! What began as an idea for a simple convection bong attachment has evolved into something much bigger—a full-fledged convection vaporizer ecosystem.

Initially, we realized the market was saturated with low-cost options, but we wanted to create something we could truly be proud of. After extensive research and countless brainstorming sessions, we decided not to focus on a single device, but rather on a complete ecosystem that revolves around hardware, software, data, and consumer feedback.

What Does This Mean?

The first phase is the Mixturus, a 3-in-1 portable convection vaporizer that allows users to seamlessly switch between 510-thread cartridges, dry herbs, and concentrates—all from the same battery. Following that, we’ll launch The Ark, a desktop device that lets up to four people share the Mixturus, creating a social experience without needing separate devices.

Together, the Mixturus and Ark will provide everything you need for a fully personalized herbal ritual. We’re also working on a software component (more to come on that in the future) that, combined with hardware data and consumer feedback, will help ensure users have a consistent, repeatable experience.

How We Found This Forum

During a visit to Cannavista Wellness in Buchanan, my co-founder struck up a conversation with a fellow enthusiast who pointed us to this community. It fits perfectly with our philosophy on consumption, and we couldn’t be more excited to connect with like-minded people here.

This thread will be a place for anyone who tries the Rite ecosystem to share their experiences—good and bad! We’re committed to creating a product and experience worth sharing with your friends, and we’re looking forward to learning and growing together with this community.

Welcome! Can you comment on the air path and cleaning? Also oven size for dry herbs and expected battery life?
Yes, of course! The airpath has a medical grade stainless steel filter located above the .33 gram bowl for dry herbs. The entire medical grade silicone mouthpiece is top rack dishwasher safe.

This @KIngNAB Also I‘d love to know where to set the different temperatures at the Ark. The vapor mixing feature sounds quite promising.
The Ark won't actually set temps, that is all done through the Mixturus which docks into the Ark similar to a Nintendo switch. Yeah! The idea came to us from wine tasting as taste includes smell.. Hopefully you'll like it!

I'm getting G-pen Elite and luxurious Gravity Bong vibes...with only SnoopDogg and Mike Tyson missing.
It certainly hits like Mike 👊

Retail for $400? A lot of hype and claims, that I'm pretty sure are false, on the website. Yet little in the way of actually showing off what the device does and how it does it. Oh boy....

I do not see the appeal for a device like this and at these prices, I would be surprised if they manage to sell enough units to keep the doors open for more than 12 months.

For carts, I'd pull a Yocan Koda Pro before this every time, for Koda's value and pocket ability alone.

I've yet to find a hybrid device for concentrate and dry herb that works BETTER than a dedicated concentrate or dry herb device. This whole package just screams novelty but there is a sucker born every minute. Perhaps they find a few willing to pay $400 for a battery.

Thanks for the feedback! I understand where you're coming from and appreciate your honesty.

The $399 price point reflects the quality of materials and the unique functionality of the Mixturus. It's designed to be a 3-in-1 vaporizer that can handle 510 thread cartridges, dry herbs, and concentrates—all powered by advanced convection technology. We believe the device brings a lot of versatility, especially for those who enjoy different consumption methods.

Regarding the website, I hear you on the need for more detailed demonstrations of what the device can do. We're currently working on more comprehensive videos and guides to show the Mixturus in action, and I’ll definitely make sure your feedback is passed along to the team. We want to provide full transparency and make sure customers understand exactly what they’re getting.

If you have specific questions about the features or how the Mixturus works, I’d be more than happy to dive into details here!

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate your perspective! I understand that hybrid devices aren't for everyone, and some users prefer separate, dedicated devices for concentrates and dry herbs. With the Mixturus, our goal was to create a versatile vaporizer that can effectively handle three different consumption methods—cartridges, dry herbs, and concentrates—all from one portable device. While this might not be a fit for everyone, we wanted to offer more flexibility for users who enjoy switching between different consumption styles.

As for the price, it reflects the quality of the materials and technology we’ve integrated into the device. The Mixturus is built with premium convection technology, designed to give users consistent performance across all formats, but we understand that it may not be the right fit for everyone's needs or budget.

You mentioned the Yocan Koda Pro, and while it's a solid option, the Mixturus is aimed at providing more versatility in a single device for those looking to simplify their setup or who enjoy all three consumption methods. We’re not trying to compete with every dedicated device, but instead offer a convenient, all-in-one solution for those who value that flexibility.

That being said, we’re always open to feedback and eager to learn from the community. If you’d like to know more about the features or performance of the Mixturus, I’d be happy to discuss those further. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve and refine our offerings.

Definitely needs more product details..
Thanks for the feedback! We're actively working on adding more detailed product information, including videos and in-depth descriptions. Stay tuned—more updates are coming soon! Let me know if you have any specific questions in the meantime, and I’d be happy to address them!

Well if you click on the “More Information” tab on the product page……
…. at least it does tell you the devices WEIGHT ! :)
Thanks for pointing that out! We’ll definitely be updating the product page with more comprehensive details. We appreciate the patience, and we're working to provide all the key specs and features soon. If there’s anything specific you’d like to know in the meantime, feel free to ask!

Unregulated Tendencies
Welcome to FC, lol. Some thoughts:

—A lot of us use carts bc the system is small and stealthy, making it ideal for on the go. If I need to carry something bigger around, I’ll vape flower.

—510 attachments are nothing new. What’s the innovation that’s going to give better than what I’ve got? “It plugs into a huge add-on station with 4 whips and a vapor bottle” isn’t super enticing.

—Convection? Just the flower attachment, right? Since concentrates and carts are conduction, it feels like you’re slinging buzzwords, not facts. The atty looks like bare metal, so it’s maybe more hybrid?

—For $400, I can get a Firewood 9, Puffco Pivot, and Yocan Kodo, plus a 2-liter bottle of soda I can drink and reuse for “vapor mixing.” It’s a tough market out there.

This doesn’t appeal to me personally, but if you share some actual technical details, you might connect with others or at least get some useful feedback. Otherwise, it’s BS in BS out.

What is unique about the functionality? Are you referring to the 3 in 1 aspect? That's been done a few times before and none of those devices have been that well recieved in the enthusiast space.

The Mixturus is built with premium convection technology, designed to give users consistent performance across all formats
This is convection for all three tasks? Surely not! I would love more information on the heater(s) please.

Can you elaborate on the dry herb and concentrate chambers please? Construction and dimensions?

Thanks for the feedback—great points, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify.

  • Portability: I totally get it—carts are hard to beat when it comes to stealth and convenience. I personally enjoy the simplicity of a small battery too, but as someone who prefers a more minimalist approach, I also don't like carrying multiple devices for different consumption methods. That’s where the Mixturus comes in: it’s designed for those who want one versatile device to handle 510 carts, flower, and concentrates. It’s not going to replace every single portable option, but for those who like to mix things up and prefer fewer devices, we believe it provides a unique solution.
  • Innovation and 510 Attachments: You're absolutely right—510 attachments aren’t new. What we’re trying to do is create a convection-based dry herb experience within a single, portable device that also handles concentrates and cartridges. We know the 3-in-1 approach hasn’t always been well received in the past, but we’ve spent a lot of time refining this for better transitions and performance. And this is just the hardware portion of our broader vision, which will also involve software and data integration down the line.
  • Convection for Dry Herb: Good catch on the convection! It applies specifically to the dry herb function, while the concentrate and cartridge functions use conduction. The focus is on adapting the heating method to each consumption format. We’ll be sharing more detailed technical info soon to clarify the exact workings of the device.
  • Price Point: We recognize the market is competitive, and that the price won’t appeal to everyone. The Mixturus is designed as a premium, versatile device with the ability to integrate with The Ark for more advanced home use in the future. But, as always, we’re open to feedback and eager to improve.
Thanks again for the constructive input—it helps us refine both the product and how we communicate its value.

Thanks for the questions! I’m happy to clarify a few things:

  • Unique Functionality: Yes, the 3-in-1 capability is a major feature. We understand the mixed reception of past 3-in-1 devices, so we’ve focused on improving the user experience by refining transitions between consumption methods. We believe the Mixturus brings a higher level of precision, and it’s part of a broader journey that will eventually include software integration, data analytics, and consumer feedback to optimize usage even further.
  • Convection Heating: To clarify, the convection heating applies to the dry herb chamber. Concentrates and 510 carts use conduction, with the device adapting to each method. We aim for optimal performance based on the specific material being used.
  • Chamber Details: The dry herb chamber is constructed with medical-grade stainless steel, designed for even heat distribution and smooth airflow. It holds up to 0.33 grams of material. The concentrate chamber uses a hybrid of stainless steel and ceramic, holding up to 0.1 grams. Both are designed for easy cleaning and maintenance.
We’re working on providing more detailed guides and videos to showcase the design and functionality. Stay tuned, and feel free to reach out with any other questions!
Yes, what is your “all powered by advanced convection technology”, mean?
Great question! When we mention "advanced convection technology," we're referring to the device’s ability to adapt to different attachments. For dry herbs, the Mixturus uses convection heating to ensure even vaporization via hot air. For concentrates and 510 cartridges, the device shifts to conduction, optimizing each method depending on the material being used.

This is just part of a larger journey we’re on that combines hardware, software, data, and consumer feedback to provide a seamless, customizable experience for the user.

I’d be happy to dive into more technical details if you're interested!

I think it's always the case here, the more detailed you can get the better.

It's my belief that you won't find a collection of more experienced vaporists anywhere. Although it also might be useful to hear who you view as your target customer. There are many great vapes out there but I know we all love to see new things happening in this industry and community.

So far I haven't heard any details about your unique heaters. If you are doing something new I'd love to see it! Especially if it can bring out more flavor and more complete extraction.

There is a high bar set by current devices so I would love to see that pushed higher.

Good luck, and thanks in advance for the info!

I don't see how you can call "advanced convection technology" the fact that the device can use different attachments. Both of which you pointed out use conduction. This is the kind of stuff that I think sets off "red flags" for people with the marketing hype. The bottom line for me is that this vape costs more than almost all of the best performing portable vapes out right now. The only thing that seems to make this different is that it can use carts. Since most if not all portable dry herb vapes can vape concentrates with a pad or some other thing you put into it.

For the kind of people who own multiple vapes (the kind of people on this forum for the most part), it's a bad idea to lead with hype rather than videos of the device in use, pictures of the oven, showing the cleaning process, etc,

I'd love to know what the website means when it calls this an "industry leading desktop device". It makes it sound like you've won awards for some crazy tech. But since no specific award is mentioned, what do you mean by "leading".

We love to hear it!

I certainly agree that is the right place for knowledgeable vaporist and it's a completely different conversation than we're used to having outside of this forum. Our target consumer is the "mindful" herbal user.

As far as the heaters go we're pulling some tech from the home appliance industry that optimizes airflow and allows for an extremely efficient energy consumption. The stainless steel in combination with convection has show very even extraction in current product testing.

We're about to get our 3rd batch of production representative units for final iterations before production is kicked off

Need more pics, vids, teardowns, etc. Details on what you're doing differently, how you're dealing with cooling, abv pics to show how bad hotspotting is, etc etc.

Right now like others have said, the website reads like a scam.

"broader vision, which will also involve software and data integration down the line."
I'm sorry but respectfully, who is asking for this? Everyone I know is complaining about "smart" features being added to products with no need for them, and there is no product I can think of that needs it less than a vaporizer.

And we need real details. Not "we're pulling buzzword tech" or some vague mention of stainless steel. Show is a cross section. Explain how your product actually works to give us a better experience. This isn't a dull group, it's full of experienced enthusiests who know what they're talking about. You're not going to sway anyone with flowery language.

My best advice is to really consider what your final product price will be, based on whatever your overall costs are to remain profitable. As others have mentioned, currently you are competing with the it boys at $400.00.

Also, while you are new here, you can check out some of the older CONTEST & GIVEAWAYS threads. Getting a few of your products in the members hands here for review is a good way to promote it, assuming you have confidence in it. The forum MODS could help you setup such a thread. Good luck!

Tonight on Vape Piranha Tank we have the Mixturus...

This is a tough crowd @KingNAB , good luck. You may want to hold back a little on your promotion until you are ready to show pictures and diagrams showing the air path and detailed construction and materials specs. Statements like "everything you need for a fully personalized herbal ritual" leave people thinking you are intentionally hiding information behind meaningless verbiage. just saying :)
