as someone who prefers a more minimalist approach, I also don't like carrying multiple devices for different consumption methods. That’s where the Mixturus comes in: it’s designed for those who want one versatile device to handle 510 carts, flower, and concentrates

Hypothetically, wouldn't you still be carrying a lot extra? Maybe not carrying multiple devices, but multiple heaters, to connect on the fly, swap and store??

What we’re trying to do is create a convection-based dry herb experience within a single, portable device that also handles concentrates and cartridges

Are you aware of the old Thermovape? They are one of the few to have done successfully with 510 attachments and multi-capability, long since out of business though now...

We recognize the market is competitive, and that the price won’t appeal to everyone. The Mixturus is designed as a premium, versatile device with the ability to integrate with The Ark for more advanced home use in the future.

Will there be alternative connection capabilities for mouthpiece? Or only a silicone mouthpiece pathway etc...? (Which never sounds premium to me, but you wouldn't be alone in using it in a high-end device)

We believe the Mixturus brings a higher level of precision, and it’s part of a broader journey that will eventually include software integration, data analytics, and consumer feedback to optimize usage even further.

Whats software integration mean, how is it bringing a higher level of precision, if it does not yet have that?? Just sounds a bit vague

  • Convection Heating: To clarify, the convection heating applies to the dry herb chamber. Concentrates and 510 carts use conduction, with the device adapting to each method. We aim for optimal performance based on the specific material being used.
  • Chamber Details: The dry herb chamber is constructed with medical-grade stainless steel, designed for even heat distribution and smooth airflow. It holds up to 0.33 grams of material
When we mention "advanced convection technology," we're referring to the device’s ability to adapt to different attachments. For dry herbs, the Mixturus uses convection heating to ensure even vaporization via hot air

It adapts by using different chambers though? Attachments, not just chambers, does it also house heating element? How do you have room for a separate heating element and chamber on a little 510 attachment that fits within the silicone cap or whatever?? Many have claimed convection over the years when they actually were producing more radiant and conduction heating, without strong separation of the heating element and chamber, with on-demand capability ideally...

As far as the heaters go we're pulling some tech from the home appliance industry that optimizes airflow and allows for an extremely efficient energy consumption. The stainless steel in combination with convection has show very even extraction in current product testing.

This is all certainly interesting, makes sense to learn from there, and make sense to talk about the airflow referring to convection and efficient energy consumption, but so many use stainless steel chambers, stainless steel heating elements, some more info about what is actually going on here would go a long way at cutting the skepticism you see here

Everyone I know is complaining about "smart" features being added to products with no need for them, and there is no product I can think of that needs it less than a vaporizer.
While I generally agree with the "too many needless smart features sentiment", I think that depends on what is planned. I usually have 15-20 strains on the go and I often make blends. Other than some meh tasting weed, different temp steps can bring out the best is a strain. If the software allowed me to select from a menu of strains/blends and set the heating levels from that selection, I might be very interested. It would sure beat the pencil, paper, and manual adjustments that I did before I just said "Oh, screw it!". :D I am going to wait and see what they have in. mind.

Thanks for your reply @KingNAB
  • Unique Functionality: Yes, the 3-in-1 capability is a major feature. We understand the mixed reception of past 3-in-1 devices, so we’ve focused on improving the user experience by refining transitions between consumption methods. We believe the Mixturus brings a higher level of precision, and it’s part of a broader journey that will eventually include software integration, data analytics, and consumer feedback to optimize usage even further.

  • Chamber Details: The dry herb chamber is constructed with medical-grade stainless steel, designed for even heat distribution and smooth airflow. It holds up to 0.33 grams of material. The concentrate chamber uses a hybrid of stainless steel and ceramic, holding up to 0.1 grams. Both are designed for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Sorry for my confusion, I was wondering what is unique about your offering, can you please explain?

Ok, so convection refers to the dry herb format only, that makes sense. Is there a distinct heater in each attachment? Could you go into details of all of these? Most importantly, how are you doing the convection heating on the dry herb chamber because that's our main focus here at FC. Coil...? ribbon...? and is it kanthall or ss or something else?

So, you're really going for a hybrid vape system here with a highly conductive herb chamber compared to an insulating chamber material like glass. That's very similar to a lot of less expensive devices, but if it's powerful enough to deliver thick vapour to 4 people at the same time then you might have something very interesting!
