i'm lining up all my ducks in a row.......lol
i am confused about a connection for a mechanical mod im about to purchase.
was hoping i could rally a question to you, about connectors.
connector is 510, thread size is M20x1mm.
i guess i figured 510 is 510. is this size going to limit atty's?

This guy is a righteous dude. I found 2clicker and this thread a few weeks ago, right before my first attempt at making erll QWET style. I started a conversation with him after I burnt through my KISS cart. I'm not sure what I was expecting when I bought my first wax pen vaporizer but it sure didn't live up to the hype. Because I am not a pro in extractions due to my tek limitations, my erll had some crap/impurities left in it. For anyone wondering why people are obsessed with 'see through shatter' it's because the clearer the shatter, the less reclaim you need to clean off your coil or worse I suppose, your deck the coil is affixed to if using a homemade RDA. Why use a homemade RDA? Because replacement atomizers for these wax pens are generally $9-$30 and chances are your shatter isn't as free from impurities as you would choose to believe. they don't provide The one hitter quitter dab hit (nail) and do not provide enough heat to dry-fire clean the residual plants and waxes that are in the majority of DIY extractions, mine included. That being said...
I just received my DBC coils last week and finally! Big rips without a 15 second draw and/or chunks of half vaped oil splattered in the mouthpiece. The ready x wick absorbs the oil and vaporizes the dab completely. There is a learning curves with temps. however if you are using a temperature controlled mod, this should be a moot point.

My (grown) son helped me through it. And snagged my dab rig!!! But it's okay, because I wanted to ask you about getting something new. But I think what I want doesn't exist!
I grabbed a "V8S" to go on top of my original Kanger 1600mah VV battery, I have two so I figured I'd use them. It's close to what I would like, since my wife was pretty specific - NO torches. :-)
But of course the taste...oh my I describe it as burnt rubber. It's like I want a Ti setup that runs on my battery. Does that make sense?
Money not a huge deal, especially given that falling in love with shatter and wax has saved me a boatload of money over flowers (I started making my own, posted first shatter run over on another FC thread, too waxed to locate it easily now...).

Sure can, I think. And FYI, the box says best vaped at 3.7-5V, which makes me THINK it's a 2.0ohm coil in there.

Like, 3.8 is as high as I like (dial on Kanger says 3.2 - 4.8). And that for 3-5 seconds, until I just start to see vapor rising.
Should I be looking for a globe/coil that can do lower temp / voltage instead? Like I said previously, V8S box had suggested voltage range of 3.7-5.0, which makes me think the coils it comes with may be 2.0ohm.

In the last week I have ordered for my VV 1600mah Kanger (3.2-4.8V):
These three:
First a V8S that isn't showing on Amazon any more (single coil, meh)
Second (arrived today, quartz coils it says?, at least there's two in each cup)
Third (not arrived yet, couldn't resist at $7.20 with shipping)
And I am thinking of this, just getting confused on the constant use of the word quartz:

sorry partner ive been busy as hell lately.
my personal advice is ditch the "oil pen" style rig and get a temp control mod. the Joyetech Evic Vtwo mini is perfect, but youll need some 18650s and a charger. then get yourself an RDA and some Ti wire. or i can make some coils for you if you want. been thinking about updating the OP in this thread with new offerings.
my new coils are wickless Ti. basically the coil IS the wick. also, ive been cleaning mine now with great success. i remove it from the RDA, soak/shake it in ISO and brush it with a small brush while its submerged. then rinse it under the hottest water my tap will go and back into the ISO for another shake. from there i rinse again to get the ISO out of it and let air dry. been planning on getting an ultrasonic cleaner to make this easier.
so stop buying all those dif attys/coils and go with re-usable/cleanable coils. ive been popping in a fresh coil every week and i gotta say performance and flavor have never been better. itll save you money going this route as well. and with temp control youll get the tastiest rips possible from a pocket solution.

Okay, I found these two, do I want the kit or just the body?

eVic VTwo Mini Body Kit (No Battery) (I couldn't seem to get a separate link in my browser window for this one versus the kit, the kit has some Cubis Pro thing I think)
I get now that 18650s are the actual batteries I think. If it's okay I would like to get like two of those from you when I order the VTwo, and holey smokes PLEASE let me make you money on coils. And I have no problem doing soaking for coils as I've been reclaiming the daylights out of stuff with my Everclear 189 for quite a while. You just tell me what I need to do, and I'll follow those directions.
Funny side note, I actually like the cheap dual coil quartz (??) on the cheap rig I got today better than the first one I tried that V8S - that V8S has a single metal coil, tasted like it was made from the broken dreams of Chinese workers...
Okay, once you nail down for me what I need on the VTwo thingy I will get on the wife's financial schedule, and when I order that I will shoot you an order for you recommended batteries, coil, and oh - what is an RDA? And would you be able to get one that...fits/is compatible with the VTwo? Not sure what that is.

remind me. do you ecig for niccotine? its been a while since we spoke and i dont remember if that ever came up. i ask because that would determine whether you want the full kit or just the body. the only difference between them is that the kit comes with the tank for juice. so if you ecig or want to use oil made into juice then the kits with tanks may be ideal. if youre not into that then id say just get the body. you should be able to find that for around $40 shipped. its a really solid device with arguably the best chip avail atm. anyway then you need batteries. 18650s are called that becaise they are 18mm diameter by 65mm in length. get either samsung or LG. imrbatteries.com is a great place to order from. def authentic cells, great prices, and fast shipping. i keep 4 cells in rotation. and use a two bay nitecore D2 charger. works perfectly, but my cells are old and i need to replace them. as for the RDA or "rebuildable dripping attomizer". its designed for ecig use. you build a coil, install it on the RDA, wick it with cotton, then drip ecig juice all over the coil/wick, replace the cap and vape it. then when it runs out you re-drip into it to refill it. so because its made to have the cap removed often to refill it makes for a great platform to build coils for use with oil. "load as you go" is the best IMO because each load is fresh.
aaaaaaanway... take a look at the "one hitter quitter thread". i just posted the exact build and setup that we are discussing. that should give you a good idea of what im talking about. let me know and ill get some links to the dif parts youll beed. or i can build it like we did before with your mech mod if you prefer.
