My ZX was my MRF of '24 same as '23. Also the ZXL has had it's fair amount of use too.

Looking forward to my vapman click (due tomorrow!) and my ZXXL soon I hope.

Man I really love the phase3 products lol!
I connected with this hard. Love my ZX, and can't wait for my Vapman Click tomorrow also. Wish I had the money for a ZXXL as it looks phenomenal.

TigoleBitties

Big and Bouncy
Portables
  • Solo3 - dominated most of the year until the Angus Enhanced showed up and competed for time
  • Angus Enhanced - not as versatile as the S3 but the taste is next level and the capsules are awesome
  • Honorable mention: Tornado is coming in really hot at the end of the year. Once my stem arrives things could get shaken up.
Desktops
  • Couchlog - I haven't purchased any new desktops so the Couchlog is still king of the hill
  • DBV baller - Super heavy hitter for sharing with guests.

Bowle 2 is on the way also so I fully expect some things to shuffle in the new year.

Most used and enjoyed, Phase3 ZX, it's clean, predictable, and very adaptable. Second place, an LSV, it has all the nice bits I like about rod heater vapes scaled to a size I enjoy.
This week I am dialing in the TRWW 14 mm Quartz Cap, lots of fun and educational.
It's a great time to be a vape user.

It's the golden age for sure. So much innovation. We have portables that can crank out tonnes of vapour now. We are being spoilt. Everytime I think we have peaked someone drops a monster of a vape.

1. Ruby twist ti bowl with orb and beaker with a broken in half taped - together joint after the orb and I lost the other bowls recently so now I'm just using the microdose one - 240
2. Dynavap M - 40 , was ok better than one hitter but hated the popcorn taste. -
3. 20mm vapebrat enail setup 4mm quartz pearls. I picked up some new ruby ones from super novations coming in as the stock 2 quartz just disappeared. I also didn't check to see if the connectors matched so I thought I could use them with the twist PID. 70 for the other but at least it was on sale and I can use any brand coil now. Snagged an 8-inch tag double slt donut something 2nd quality tag recycler with a reclaim catcher for 100! Wonder if I can use it for my ball vape., I know recyclers for smoke are bad but at 545 with the microdose bowl the vapor from the twist even after heatsoaking seems more dab-like than huge bong clouds. Maybe its just the beaker piece though and I don't want to ruin my brand-new recycler.

I'd been using a Mighty for several years and got curious about alternatives, so I dedicated 2024 to trying stuff out. Results are in!

Most reached for 2024:

Screwball, mostly for CBG and CBD flower
TM2 and 2-CON for type 1 flower before bed
Starry 4 for camping/ outdoors

Just messing around 2024:

Dynavap M and Wand
Original Angus

AVLP on the go… always convenient, easy, fast, dumbproof. 10 min sesh… i tap out at around 7-8 min… :D
Danivape fusion with butane or with BFG Flare IH… but it gets hot… i need to craft a wood sleeve for it. Great vape, great flavor, great smack ! shelved my dyna's since i got it !
Desktop vape at home : my modded SSV still rule them all, by far.. So flavorfull, so versatile…

OG sticky brick and dyna's for occasional use...

Past couple months it’s been my puffco pivot, basically since I got it. We have good quality Rosin here from the legal market so it doesn’t feel like a DHV which is going to be bigger and slower to heat up because it has to cook a bunch of plant matter is very attractive anymore when I can just heat up and vaporize the good stuff in a smaller more efficient package.

Sometimes I still use my LOBO as it’s a really nice vaporizer for what it is, but I’m really enjoying my pivot

As someone with Tempest and Tornado, what would Convector XL give me that those others don't?

The XL is like a high flow Tornado; especially when paired with Inductor. @25.5 on Inductor I do 7 second heat up, 4-5 second reheat. Instant whitewall on a glass piece, IMO closest current vape experience to a bong rip.

If you like collecting and it’s in the budget, I enjoy it alongside the others.

Honorable mention: if it had've come earlier in the year, the Vapvana Ace probably would've been in my top 3. It changed how I saw wireless ball vapes, and it's changed how I dab.

3rd place: I've had it nearly 6 months now, and the VerdaVap is still the first vape I reach for most days. Doesn't matter that it's unregulated, with a timer it's so easy to use, and it's such a powerful, but easy extraction.

2nd place: When I first started reading the promises, I thought "that's just a whole lot of nice sounding words that don't mean anything." Then the Vestratto Tornado turns up and everything you've read about it makes sense. I love this device, it's so powerful, it's such a different consistency of vapour. Just last week I got the stem adapter, and I'm using it even more now.

1st place: My favourite vape of the year is one that I tossed and turned over for months, cos the Flower Kettle + Electropath comes in at a price that you need to be really certain of! I've used it nearly every day since I've had it though. It's so versatile, I've had so much fun experimenting with it, and whether you're vaping some shitty tasting weed or the dankest of dank, there's a setting you can create that will optimise it/deaden flavour/change whether you sip or rip/be suited to different rigs. Also, double stacks through it rule hard.

Three completely different designs, but how does the Convector XL compare with the other two?

Tempest/TA are very similar; Tornado and Convector XL are unique. The Tornado because of its vapor delivery, XL for fastest heat up/cool down and the easiest clouds without any fear of combustion (with technique). If I could only afford one, I think it might be Tempest, but the XL Convector is right there with it and is the best of the butanes I’ve found on a water piece.
