That's great news, I ordered last week too!
No need to rehydrate. It gets fully dried out during the decarb process. There was a bunch of condensation on the black lid when I did my last run in a 60F room.Hi Everyone! I just got my Nova today and I'm wanting to decarb but I have a quick question. Can my flower bee too dry for the decarb process? I'm not sure if I need to rehydrate it a little? I just don't want to waste anything. THANK YOU for your Help!! (:
Hey @blackie , been loving your posts here and in the Mighty thread! No need to rehydrate. It gets fully dried out during the decarb process. There was a bunch of condensation on the black lid when I did my last run in a 60F room.
You are supposed to be able to decarb fresh bud. I may try that. I have a harvest coming soon.
I'm in the high desert with bone dry meds; it works just fine. If you were to use an oven to it would dehydrate rather quickly before any actual decarbing occurred anyhoo.
I missed the part about no curing needed. Not sure I trust it entirely but if true a nice feature indeed.
Another option for you, MonkeyTime: Watercuring.
Hello. I am new here. Actually this is my first post. I stumbled across this thread and thought I would join in. I also ordered a lift two weeks ago and have received the same email mail today also. Scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I am planning on using mainly for decarbing rosin to make canna caps and the chips for tincture and RSO. I just received my rosin bomb press last week to go with the magic butter maker. Between the three iI should have a fairly easy process. Guess I will find out tomorrow..
I just got my delivery notice, tracking number to come.
Less than two weeks from order to shipping.
Here`s the letter I got:

Hi Ardent Family!
Your unit has shipped, and you will receive your tracking number within the next 24 hours if you haven't already. Just a few things to know as you are getting started:
Unit timing: The entire cycle, which includes the heat up, decarb and cool down period, takes from 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours. The sensors are monitoring the temperature in real time and prompting heating cycles that fully permeate all of the material, so the timing of each cycle is dependent on many factors, including the starting material temp, temp in your home, and amount of material you use.
Inner Lid: We have updated the inner lid based on consumer feedback. Our first lid would sometimes pop off during the process or get sucked in when the internal air was cooling. The new lid prohibits air from entering canister once it is placed over the cup and simultaneously prevents collapse..
Thank you for joining our mission to bring science and data to the forefront. We love to hear from you and thought you’d like to see a note that came in just yesterday:
"Your product rocks! It was wonderful to relax on the sofa instead of pacing in front of my oven. The full activation makes the whole baking experience better because I won’t worry about wasting medicine in the process. Thanks again, Pat"
We appreciate your support. Here's to a happier and healthier life!
Love,
Shanel

Thank you. And Yes. Basically heat and pressure to extract.. most people use it for dabs. I am pressing it out because I find it easier to make strong editable with a concentrate. To keep it on topic I purchased the lift to decarb the rosin for canna caps and e juice. Thca is what chrystelizes making concentrates more solid when it's decarbed the Thca turns to thc and stays runny. Makes it easy to mix in pretty much anything. If you want we could start a thread in concentrate fourm to discuss further so not to take this thread off topic..
Hi Frank, welcome aboard!
What's rosin? The trichomes pressed away from the plant matter?
How do you use it?
Why press?
I've browsed a couple of rosin threads and still can't wrap my mind around it, probably should have another thread, sorry for taking things off topic.

Very cool!a lift two... rosin bomb ... magic butter maker. Between the three I should have a fairly easy process.
If you have a (very) small bit of disposable income and enjoy science projects? Buy your self a wide flat iron, a clamp, and some parchment paper. Under $50 and you now have a mini Rosin press..

Nice numbers!I got my test results back from a high CBD strain decarb. The strain is CBD Critical Mass. 12.5 grams were decarbed.
Looks like about a 95% conversion rate for THC, and a 98% conversion rate for CBD.
Before
5.4% Total THC
8.6% Total CBD
Cannabinoids Mass (%) Mass (mg/g)
THCa 5.4% 54.3 mg/g
Δ9-THC 0.6% 6.5 mg/g
THCV 1.6% 16.3 mg/g
CBDa 9.6% 95.8 mg/g
CBD 0.2% 2.5 mg/g
After
5.1% Total THC
8.4% Total CBD
Cannabinoids Mass (%) Mass (mg/g)
THCa NR NR
Δ9-THC 5.1% 51.5 mg/g
THCV 0.1% 0.7 mg/g
CBDa NR NR
CBD 8.4% 83.5 mg/g
I expect that it is a bit of both. For bud, as long as you don't pack it in? I expect simply filling it up will always work. When I did a full run of kief I stuck a slender glass tube to open the center to heating; probably not necessary.\Is the recommended quantity of material because of size or because of unit efficiency? I have a alot of pressed material that I can easily fit way more than recommended.
The way I understand it you can do as little as you would like..
Krazy can we partially fill the Nova and get good results or do we have to fill it to the top to get 100% conversion?
Thanks
.
I only put 1-2 grams of bud at a time in mine and it seems to decarb just fine. Measure out some 100mg of decarbed bud, make a snuff pouch out of teabags, then stick one in your cheek for an hour or so and you will get some effects..
