More restrictive draw with 3mm. You may get away with slightly lower temps. Source: I currently own a B0 with 3mm and 4mm beads.

I have that same bowl from VGoodiez. No recommendation for temps but I absolutely recommend a mesh screen if you use a fine grind. 3/4 inch screens fit snugly and prevent any spillage / leakage of herb. It will require a bit of extra brushing to clean. Enjoy your B1 ! My B0 packs quite a punch

Thanks for stating this. I have a B0 on the way to add to my VROD and I was concerned to realize it doesn’t fit the carb cap (at least not officially?) Happy to learn it’s not needed with the ball vapes as I was having buyers remorse about not going with the B1 for Carb Cap support.
