I need help getting about a half of lb of of wax paper and do not for the life of me know how. I was given it and need help. It looks sappy

I what's the best way to get tons of sticky wax that is dark and sticky off the wax paper? Freeze it or heat it up alot? Help please SoS SoS lol

Throw it in the fridge (ideally in a covered container) and see how it is in the morning.

Cooling it will keep it solid while heating it will cause to be liquid and runny, aka messy
