DM @phattpiggie and he'll sort you out.
The new TA is now sold without the stem, so every 8mm stem you have will work. I'd only avoid metal stem as they can get quite hot with the TA,
Draw restriction is very subjective. In my experiece, the TA restriction with a Revolve is comparable to a dry bubbler/j-hook.
FWIW, I mostly take DTL hits too nowadays, and I've found that I'm enjoying a simple ed's tnt stem with a TRWW intercooler way way more.
Obviously, YMMV.
Is it possible that this "extra heat" is due to a different wood density? Are your bricks made with the same wood?
I've never experienced anything like this with my bricks, but then I've only owned cherry bricks. :2c:
Yes, absolutely. The cooling feature is actually so effective that everytime I want my vapor to be more punchy I tend to go with a simpler/shorter stem. Oh, and the wood sleeve is obviously a must for the TA.
On another note, as a V1 owner, it's great to see so many people are now enjoying...
No. I tend to use the same stem for both MTL and DTL hits. It's the first in the image I posted a few pages back (https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/thermal-accumulator-by-phattpiggie.52933/post-1779243)
Personally, I don't know how any stem could "open" the airflow. Of course you can restrict...
The restriction level is difficult to gauge because it depends on personal preferences and what devices you are comparing.
The TA can be used both for MTL and DTL hits. I think @phattpiggie's idea was more oriented towards MTL, but you can easily take a huge single hit no problem. After more...
Yes, an XL hula stem is perfeclty acceptable. IIRC I saw a picture taken by @Chicken No Name with this very stem, but I could be wrong.
The stem I ended up using has probably even less cooling that an XL hula stem so I'm positive they will do the job just fine.
ETA: I've just looked up and what...
That's weird. I know for a fact a few American members got their Tinymight from this shop.
I've just tried making a purchase and the option "États-Unis" (USA) is there. :)
No wooden collar in the TA V2 AFAIK.
As for the Revolve2, I can attest it works great with the TA, even though I like a more open draw. That's why I switched back to the Ed's tnt/TRWW setup (I'll upload a pic at some point).
It really depends on how you plan on using it and/or if you already have some 8mm stems.
If you want to go entry-level, the cheapest option would be the 8mm version of the TA and a glass stem like SP aristocrat stem. However, I think this isn't the best solution as you're gonna miss some...
Lighlty used Cherry OG Brick.
I'm also including a spare mouthpiece, a spare straight flame intake, 2 restrictor disks, the original tweezers, screens and cork plug.
Asking €95,00 plus shipping. I'd prefer PayPal F&F, but wire transfer is OK too (buyer pays the fees).
