Been using my capsule mouthpiece for my tetra and noticed it's getting waxy in the wooden part. I got the glass insert soaking in smoke/vapor residue cleaner but I assume I shouldn't drop the wood in with it, does anyone know what I can use to clean that part?

In one heat cycle I usually go for one really big hit or just cool it down after hitting it once, personally its not long enough to get a proper 2nd hit

Have you tried directly loading? That usually works for me when the vapor production seems low with the baskets. Also I personally found better production with a good tamp if you haven't already been doing that
