    Recommend a J-hook equivalent

Thanks @Shit Snacks , that is definitely the form factor I had in mind, I might prefer something just a touch bigger in the base. I wish more of these guys had storefronts, I hate dealing with people through IG.

    TV Shows - General Discussion

We are on the same viewing journey this month. I've read the novel Shogun probably five or six times so that makes me a big fan of the series. This is another one where they are doing as good of a job as you can ask for from a TV series. The novel is easier to understand, it's hard to explain...

    The J-hook thread!

Since this thread has veered a little bit into j-hook adjacent glass I thought I would mention a good deal I found. There is a wholesale site for cannabis suppliers called thesupplyjoint that has some of the small Grav bubblers at very good prices. It looks like they are unloading them at...

    TinyMight / TM 2

I've never turned my TM above 7, I can scorch at that setting. If you are burning at 10, maybe turn it down? Am I missing something? I always pull the stem back about 1/8 in after seating it, that helps reduce scorching.

    Recommend a J-hook equivalent

Thanks for all the suggestions, some good contenders here. The J-hook thread veered towards this style just the last couple of days.

    TinyMight / TM 2

The TM is one of the best vapes ever made, almost every one agrees about that. At $350 it's not what most people consider a "beginner" vape, but it is very easy and reliable to use. It's still a "craft" vape that is a little bit fragile and not suitable for throwing around in a gym bag. I do...

That adorable little girl with her thumb out, holy shit (not really a spoiler for anyone considering watching, you'll know it when it happens). My wife asked if she would enjoy the show, I'm really not sure, maybe we'll rewatch it together.

    TV Shows - General Discussion

I just finished episode 3. So far it is everything I could ask for. The casting is excellent and they are leaning really heavily into the silliness, as I hoped they would. Even with the humorous approach that nuclear strike scene was one of the most horrific things I've ever seen. It was...

    Recommend a J-hook equivalent

I am looking for a small glass piece to use dry, mostly with a TM and Dynavap. Ideally I want something that works like a J-hook but that has a flat base that stands firmly on it's own. I'm imagining something like a hook melded into a hockey puck sized base. A ground glass joint >= 14mm is...

    Can’t post to classifieds?

I just "liked" you three times, you'll get there. This barrier helps to keep out casual scammers, that works for your benefit too. Go into a thread about a vape you are interested in and make a comment, you can even blatantly ask for likes, no one will mind.

Using my old E-Nail box to power a ball vape?

I misspoke, most of them are 20 mm. The TIODW Titanium XL v2.0 from AliExpress is 30 mm.

Using my old E-Nail box to power a ball vape?

Yes, people do this all the time (not me, I just read about it). You need a coil and head of a matching size, I believe 25 mm is the most common but they go up to 40 mm. You "screw" (twist) the head down into the coil and off you go. Reply with your coil size (inside diameter) and someone...

How warm does the PID controller get on this unit after an extended session? It's a fair bit of power passing through that small inline controller.

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

I'm trained in building electronics and like to play around, I would not go that route. This is a "naked" core PID brain but it needs to be matched up with temp sensors and a coil that are fully compatible. It would be very easy to get that wrong. An inexpensive PID with coil package from...

Modified Table tops vs Ball Vapes

One advantage of PID vapes is that they are "constant temperature" where the modified desktops are "constant power". With PID control the power goes up as you hit because it is trying to maintain temperature. They return to temp faster. Constant power vapes don't ramp up the power and can...

    Itchy hives when vaping?

Vaping delivers a much higher percentage of terpenes than smoking (terpenes break down easily when exposed to heat) and you are likely allergic to some of them. If you can figure out which terpenes you can buy strains to avoid them. You might just adapt to it after more exposure.
