Does the temp sensor A/D have good enough resolution to give you the accuracy you're looking for?
In the analog domain, your basic PID controller is considered an excellent way to control things with lag times -- like temperature.
See? See? I told'ja that someone would call me a lightweight!
Which I am. All I can say it that this lightweight enjoys getting buzzed and appreciates good hardware and the Q pleases me in both areas.
Well I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to look like some kinda lightweight, but a little elbow pack in my Q of herb at 200C can give me plenty of vapor, sometimes leaving me coughing. If there are vapes that put out more vapor, I don't wanna hear about them. Coughing is not on...
Hey extremevape420,
If you've already opened up your Extreme and are thinking to yourself, "This will be easy," and you have the tools, why not do it yourself? You might want to check with Steve at Arizer to see how this affects your warranty -- he replies to his emails.
I bet that if you...
The Saga Continues . . .
So the little elbow jointful that has been giving so much pleasure for these past couple days finally stopped providing vapor at 200C. So I took the machine to 210C and let it preheat then tried again. Nothing much happened. I took a look at the pack and it had a brown...
Does anyone know whether the "intense full flavoured hits" that some say they get from other vapes is due to temperature? I mean, what else could it be?
Maybe some folk are fans of combustion products and the Arizer products simply don't get hot enough for them.
(Later that same day): still getting visible vapor inhaling and exhaling from the same little elbow pack I put in two days ago, still at 200C. Nothing much to taste any more, just that slight vague taste of THC vapor, and a nice clear high. When the weed is fresh, I can taste all it's lovely...
When the elbow pack is fresh, I taste plenty of nice floral and vegetative turps and other fragrances. After several hits the flavor tapers to pretty much nothing while vapor continues.
Last night's weed, which I've hit many times and was still getting vapor at 200C when I turned it off, is...
I have two strains of weed over here. My provider called the first one "M33." The second one he said, "We're not too sure what it is, try some and see what you think."
With the Q, a pinkie-finger elbow pack gives two or three decent hits at 200C with the M33. The same amount of the mystery...
My guess is that chishoik's talking about the low-voltage DC cord that goes between the power supply and the tower. The AC Mains cord has a standard IEC fitting and is easily replaced.
But the main point, that unless it has been abused the cord should not be showing bare wire, is probably...
What you been doing to that wire? Dragging it across cinder blocks or something?
Be interesting to see if this kind of wear and tear is covered under warranty. I know I can't take a power sander to my Mr Coffee's power cord and expect it to be covered.
