I'm hoping its just manufacturing oils, and not some defect. It does appear that the acrid plastic taste/smell lessened after I ran the oven for ~3 minutes or so. But that may just be my nose acclimating to the smell... ? Has anyone else had any similar experiences? Is this normal? It tastes...

I just heated it up and took a draw with an empty oven, just to test the draw resistance and the temperature. The air tastes really plastic :S is this normal / will this go away?

Hmm, so I got my pax in the mail today. I tried heating it up, taking an empty dry draw just to test the resistance and temperature. It tastes STRONGLY like bitter plastic. How do I remedy this?

cobalt! because the cobalt pax in jambandphan03's youtube videos is so pretty. :) i was previously set on black for stealth, but your youtube videos make blue look SO GOOD. imho jambandphan03 is the coolest. i'll be posting plenty of pictures when it arrives tues-thurs-sometime !! :D

Haha, shucks. I find out about the cera the day after i ordered my pax from VW (AMAZING customer service btw)... :S Is this buyers remorse? I'm... not... sure.... x_x

but harder things are more brittle, so that may not be the best thing for crack resistance. edit: their website says its as strong as steel :) so i guess hard, and durable! and on a side note DARN, i just ordered my pax yesterday... lol

Do they have an online store / name? :D Or do you think they'd be willing to offer that price to non-locals and ship it domestically? :)
