Sorry to keep pestering but the battery pack with provide a slight slower time to click compared to the direct wiring to a car battery, but will still be much faster than the regular wall out power supply?
i have seen multiple times on fc that the Zion heater is different than the milaana heater. I know that Zion is regulated and milaana isn't... But is that where the differences end? Or are there more differences between the two heaters? Are they both 18mm ground glass joints?
Ok I think I get it. You mentioned a couple pages back how you had made some tweaks so you were getting the click in 3-4 seconds and that this new faster time improved vapor quality. Will this new battery setup accommodate that fast heating time? Would the home use only unit have the faster...
Thanks for the responses @Pipes! I'm very much an electrical and diy noob... And so I ask how will the batteries be able to be changed and operate at the same time? Will they use power quicker than they get it, or is the quick bursts of power need not significant enough for that to happen?

@Pipes what voltage/amps would the batteries supply to the heater? And also would the batteries have to be taken out to charge... Creating the possibility for dead batteries at an in opportune time, leaving the induction heater powerless?
Induction could be convection, but with no mention of convection and only induction this feels like another tired conduction model. The airflow change seems nice, but also gimmicky. I fail to see how this would be a sizable improvement over the v3... (Besides 2 batteries and lcd 1degree temp...
It's $60 on dhgate and $110 on PIU. One you might wait weeks for, the other a matter of days. PIU Has great customer service, dhgate chinglish... And not to mention a 2 year warranty as well as other goodies (grinder, candy, drawings) come with PIU :).
@Prolusio very well said.
I guess the size of the stem would come down to how @RastaBuddhaTao envisions the Mi-510 being used. If this were to simply be a cheap and efficient way to get a regulated milaana heater to the masses than I agree 18mm would the size. If Mi-510 is supposed to be the...
if one end has a 14mm ground glass joint then yes. You may have some difficulty getting a screen, to prevent scooby snacks, to fit; but nothing a determined DIYer can't get around.
I feel like this vape could finally be the $100 vape king. Weecke Fenix couldn't, Boundless CF couldn't hang with nicer units, neither could the Odin. Chinese Vape Gods... are our prayers finally answered??? :) :)
