I use an eGo cone too, and also had to grind the tapered end down a couple of mm because the Sapphire is a little thicker than the standard cone allows. GotVapes said they would try to get some more sleeves that are designed for the Sapphire, but so far, no such luck.

I think maybe you're starting to overthink this. Unless they do a chemical analysis at the airport how are they going to tell the difference between the two e-juices? Does your ABV juice really stink? As to how much to bring, I really can't guess for you. And I would bring two cartos, not one...

It's worth a try :). With e-juice, both the Sapphire v4 and the Nano work really well, though the Sapphire is slightly more leak proof when you're flying (pressure changes). GotVapes sells both though I think they're still out of stock with the Sapphire.
