Cells are 700mah and the 30 mins run time is with a heater temp of 220C.
Jumping up to 1200mah 18350's would take the run-time per charge over an hour. I am looking into sourcing other cells at the moment to see if we can sort out the capacity.
The design was done in house by myself and others.
I can get a graphic together showing the air path and vaporizer internal layout if that would be helpful.
The air enters below the bowl, passes a portion of the heater before entering the chamber - then passes out of the chamber and does a...
I can assure you it isn't evasion, if my word helps at all.
I actually did find out about the warranty but it wasn't decided 100% so i held back on posting until it was certain. It would be worse to go back on words. I intended to communicate this of course but i am always running around like...
All the above is correct, the dimmers are made in china - its not massively feasible to produce the dimmers in the US at the moment.
The assembly that takes place in the US involves making up the vape from the Chinese sourced dimmer and all the other components including the body, base, heater...
I did mean in not speaking in relation to heat transfer physics, not all together haha
If by "Pseudo-convection" you mean the heat transfer as a whole is part convection then yes, that would be the case with a suspended screen, but convection still plays a large part in the process as does...
Hot air rising via natural convection is still... convection.
But i wont speculate on the set-up. You may well be correct.
Notes taken: i shall withdraw from discussion.
HAHA exactly, i try to keep the facts known. Though the cost can be extensive with all the conjecture.
As soon as i can, i will post full specs and info.
I was simply picking up on tone and stating posts as bullshit.
Indeed, but my point is that changing the glass thickness and heater proximity changes the heat transfer to the load, noticeably so.
This discussion is absorbing a-lot of time while we all circle each-other trying to bolster our...
When the time comes around, ill show the very heater in the sidekick behaving like a conduction vape. I have done it with similar heaters before so i am speaking from experience.
You don't need to trust me.
Theres no need for the animosity, the ssv and lsv have alot more mass around the load...
Far from the case, if i were to put a modified basket screen into a heater and increase the distance from the walls and bottom - the air would be heated before entering the bowl - which would not be cooked until inhaled through. A higher SP temp is required but none-the less, the heating process...
The grasshopper does a good job of insulating the chamber, a damn good job. But the thermal mass of the unit results in a similar situation to that stated above, to a lesser degree of course.
Can anyone enlighten me on the zion heater configuration? i cant see it well enough.
Similar with the...
Me too! i am also exited to get more products out there, i plan to be more involved in the entire production process so will be better positioned to speak on the matters on here.
I am not going to lie, i like conduction for situations where it is beneficial - like extended battery life after...
Shall i help a little here, i wish i could do more.
The heater is custom made ceramic, circular in shape with the bud contained within the heater. The air enters beneath the heater and passes a small portion of the hot ceramic before it enters. The produced vapour is taken through a helical...
