HAHA here was me thinking it was my breathing that brought the air into my mouth.
I have the tools to see myself the effect of airflow on the load temperature. So i needn't worry.
Im trying, thanks.
I have 3 things running at once so jumping online can be sporadic with my current workload...
The radiative heat cooks the periphery, and the convective transfer takes place where the air moves.
Though it is silly getting this pedantic over heat transfer . Who has a thermographic camera?
No, it is not routed to pass the heater before entering.
Also, just a note.
Do bear in mind that a simple screen is all it takes to change a conduction configuration to a convection one.
The cad already existed, but was far from refined enough to be an accurate representation of the aesthetics. After the shipping delay (they have now arrived) the 3D image was used.
in the model the gear is in a slightly different place. But that really is all there is to it :\
The vape uses...
Time owes me a-lot in life, an explanation at least.
But in this instance it has given me the opportunity to prepare, the pieces are cut and the mosaic is awaiting construction :science:
I have to apologise for the render quality, i had a bug with photoview 360 that i haven't managed to sort out yet.
A shipping delay meant the expected batch that was to be used for product pictures didn't turn up.
I've been super busy and had to use what i could, as it wasn't too great to...
Just a quick message for the European and UK members - i am now fully furbished to do official 7th floor repairs in the UK for a faster turnaround.
From dimmer and heater replacements to heater stand upgrades. There is also now a UK stock of spares.
I will try and figure out a way to get this...

Is it dust or fine bud particulate?
I also use two screens and get a cleaner hose and wand, though i always believed this to be tiny bits of vaped bud rather than household dust.
As kief is more than small enough to make its way though the screens and kief by weight is less than 50%...
Sounds like its worth investigating! no cost to alter the screw positioning. :D
I wouldn't really worry about dust, we breathe copious amount into our lungs over our lifetime. That is what mucus and the cilia are for in the bronchi. Catching the particulates and moving them up and into the...
+1 for the nice custom set-up above.
I also prefer smaller mouthpieces, this is the one i'm using currently.
Much flatter than the standard bulb and with a longer taper.
Got to say, these days i have been using a GG HC with a straight bore and the VapeXhale ELB's.
Its pretty superb, i stick the cap on there too and crank the temps up a little (less thermal mass, the bud sis suspended in the ELB essentially, no glass to bud contact).
Gooooood work my boy!!!!
I love stoner science! - it is my life hahaha. We should work together on a potumentary.
Try adding a little thermal mass to the transducer - that will smooth out the fluxion somewhat and help analogise the thermal mass of the bud.
Those curves are exactly why i have...
I might take an angle grinder to mine and reduce the weight massively, then just filt it down nice and use a mesh for the EMI and for some heat shielding.
Could you snap a picture of your HC and the gap between it and the screws, also try and get one of the heater position in relation to the HC wand connection - it sounds like your gap is normal (3mm?) but the heater seems to still be sitting too low.
Stop sleeping with your mouth open when you are really high :p
Sounds like you are getting dry lips (probably with a dry mouth) which can be from either the cannabinoids biological effect or the physical properties of hot and dry vapour - probably both.
The only thing that can prevent this...
