The LSV cord is about 10 feet or so. The HLT has a few inches of pigtail so the cord is whatever you attach to it. These little VVPS have 3ish feet of cord. I use a 6' 5.5x2.1mm M-F extension cord on all of my cores for extra play.

Yes sir! https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-highlighter-glass-core-open-source-halogen-log-kit-hosted-by-refc-labs.51335/post-1586460 They're Elev8 and made for the LSV, but pair very nicely with the HLT just the same! Shorties are better than the stock wand/tool. Longs are better than...

I stock the LSV wand (both long and shorties) for this reason. I'm a big fan of direct-draw as well! They're a nice upgrade from the stock wand/tool and cool a lot better. I have the honeycomb version on my DD, and love-love-love it.

Done and done. I'll be using these until my supplier returns with the originally spec'd parts. As expected they pass testing with no issues. We're back in business :)

Update on the plugs. I heard back from my supplier. They have acknowledged the problem and have promised to replace with like kind and quality from previous batches. ETA 3-4 weeks, again. In the mean time - what this means for you folks: I rush-ordered some higher quality dc jacks that are...

The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

I have a quick and important update to share. The good news - I finally received the backordered DC Jacks that has delayed drops for the past 2 weeks. The bad news - they are hot garbage (quite literally) and I can't/won't sell them and must advise steering away from KASTAR jacks until further...

That low, huh? wow! If you're running foil at 6+v you're probably combusting. The standard voltage suggestions are for a naked, lossy core. Adding insulation will reduce the required voltage. 7g is approx 197 beads. I include 7.15-7.2g in the kits. 7.0 on the low side, 7.2 on the high side...

The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

As promised, here's a pic of the bulb from my OG core (from the bocote shield). I said I'd show it when the bulb when bad - which is not the case here. I pulled it apart for inspection and to swap to a proforma screen (this guy still had an early rev screen in it and no bead-retention safety...

Regardless of demeanor it's important feedback and I value it - I will likely try to get some pictorial diagrams put together for subsequent kits, when I can find the time. Glad you got it together and are enjoying it! We all have bad days, don't sweat it too much.

    Vaping Fresh Live Buds

Pick a small, put it on a paper plate, and put a very small plastic cup over it. it will quick-dry in a day or two and be usable. Not very well cured, but you'll get an idea of what you have. It will be far preferable to fresh , wet bud.

    Vaping Fresh Live Buds

It's like vaping wet hay. Has a very grassy flavor and a bit harsher. Dry and cure your bud :)

I don't foresee this being an issue with the barrel connector and that 1-2" of lead attached to it. I would not put any shrink near or inside the glass body. Of course, this does make the fixture more permanent and you'll likely need a new set of parts to swap the bulb or dc jack, since the...

Collyland Aromatizer (formerly Vapbong by Art of Vapor)

Sounds like they are pretty close, comparatively speaking. Thanks! I haven't gotten a chance to run the Obsidian unit (from around Jan just prior to the name change, I believe) so I was just curious what to expect.

What is the "sweet spot" voltage for current units, compared to those of last August (when I got my B stock unit)? I'm curios to know how much of a difference to expect. My older VB likes to run at about 11.2 - 11.4V.
