Nonono this post doesn't do this any up front justice.
BEHOLD THE KEEBLER WARP CORE!
(coursety of @Improvaper )
Seriously thought, this is awesome. I love it.
So here's a fun tidbit for anyone looking for a more precise out-of-the-box power supply for their HLT (or woodcents, vapbong, underdog, or any other 12v vape). I snagged one of these Sinilink XY3605 Voltage REGulators from amazon (basically a mini benchtop psu style buck-boost converter) and...
It's been some weeks since I've been able to do a drop, but I'm preparing another currently. TBQH I deal with some sporadic long-term health issues which can, and have been, holding me up for a bit - but I am back in action and want to start launching more kits. I appreciate everyone's...
There isn't clearance to support 4mm in the HLT using the average sizing of parts.
You can use more exotic materials like rubies. We didn't see a huge impact from moving away from soda lime glass, which is why we opted for the least expensive fit.
That's quite the endorsement!
I don't think I'd want to go without, though! They're utter beasts and I have nothing but awesome things to say about them. I just have two vapbongs and zero herborizers and feel that needs to be a bit more balanced :)
And that torched white ash looks the...
Up for sale from my private collection -
Obsidian VapBong by Art of Vapor with matching funnel & PSU (psu not pictured)
This is a pristine, mint obsidian unit from the last "Art of Vapor" drop prior to the name change to CollyLand Aromatizer (branded AOV by Jaxal on base). It's in perfect...
Can confirm, 20 kits going live tonight at 9pm ET :)
Hey - just a heads up - I've had some shipping calculation errors due to some wonky rule overlaps - IF for some reason you get an outrageous quote, or have limited service availability, please contact me and advise me on : location and :cart...
Looks awesome dude! Been searching high and low for heady glass tubes for exactly this reason, glad to see someone finally got it made!!!
I love it. The world needs more heady glass.
>No interest personally right now, I just wanted to commend your decisions here, maybe one day :)
I hope I get the opportunity to make your day, yet! Ty for the props, from the SHDC team :)
The seller indicated they were going to do this commercially. SHDC isn't granting retail licenses for the kit at this time. The CC license grants personal use, not commercial use for profit. Of course, we would like to protect our time and energy investment in this project. We gave the design...
This kit was not supplied by me. The seller is making their own (against the law, the way it is licensed under attribution non-commercial share-alike). This is going to be interesting.
This sloppy screen work was not made by my shop.
Edit - seller deleted post. I have all of the documentation...
Whoa, 130 big boys? Man, should I start charging 60 bucks for assembly??? It does stray a bit from the "affordable" concept.
Edit: @4everpushingaboulder I'd love to respond to you on EE but alas, I am banned from there
What @badbee says. Custom made/fabbed parts are certainly possible, but staying true to a commodity based DIY kit both keeps things simple and consistent while keeping costs low.
When building any heat shield that uses values (cavity diameter, length, thickness, etc) outside of the listed spec, please remember to keep a close eye on heat temps over long term operation. As with any DIY kit, many of these configurations are untested.
DIY is always at your own risk, so...
So, you can adjust the corepack up a tad. The guts are friction fit, and you can push the core pack up a few mm so you have the clearance you need for that WPA. It will work! Just takes tweaking the core pack location up just a hair. Most WPA's will have variances between makes/models so this is...
