GAAAAHH!
That is very disappointing.
Where are the cracks?
Pics if you're bored.
Which batch did your Halo come from?
To my knowledge there have been two batches, one released in March another in June.
I think that most (if not all) reports of cracked Sapphire Halos are from the June release...
I've been wanting a wood enclosure and have been eyeing these control units for awhile.
But, I have a reeeaaally old phone, it won't support the app to control the box; so that's my current excuse not to try. (well, that and that price)
How about those "Dab-Bulbs"?
PRICE DROP: $280 shipped
Need to free up some funds so I'm putting my Liger V2 up for grabs.
The package comes with:
Liger Banger V2 20mm
Liger SiC insert 20mm
Liger Quartz insert 20mm
Liger Stormcell Carb-Cap Master Set (w/ variable airflow)
D-Nail Standard Barrel Coil 20mm
All of the above...
That image has to be stolen.
Looks like a Chip G Swiss Klein with a Halen Trough?
Being hit by a decidedly non-Asian looking dude?
However, I have been lusting after just this piece for some time now, but don't have a spare 2.5k.
So I will keep my eyes on this thread.
My impression is in V3, only the joint and airpath are joined into one piece, while the bucket can be switched back and forth between flat coil and barrel coil bucket options.
So the V3 buckets will still be reverse compatible with the V2 joint and airpath.
You should be able to purchase the V3...
I drank a yellow jacket once.
It was unpleasant.
I was stopped at a stop sign, and slammed back the last sip out a 20oz Mango Iced Tea.
I didn't swallow it, but it did sting the inside of my lower lip.
Thank God I was stopped.
On a more positive note:
That bee thought that you had a SWEET...
It's not due to a shortage of sapphire.
I think that the process for lab growing sapphire dishes/halos is time consuming and costly.
D-Nail can only make 30 sapphire halos a month.
I may have been talking out of my ass on that one.
But I'm pretty sure I remember @herbivore21 mentioning something along those lines.
In truth, sublimation being the process through which a solid becomes a vapor w/o ever being a liquid, it is probably not the term I'm looking for here...
Halo diameter = ~27.5mm
The V3 Liger inserts @30mm + the fact that there is no "donut hole" in the middle definitely gives the surface area advantage to the Liger V3.
It looks like the walls of the V3 insert are thicker than the Halo walls.
The increased surface area of the V3 will definitely...
In my experience, which is admittedly not super extensive as I've only dabbed for a year, the dabbing experience is primarily affected by the surface material one is dabing upon.
I don't dab on Ti.
I started on Quartz, and it is okay.
SiC is fantastic (I haven't used other ceramics and it seems...
:D
I've had both for awhile now and agree that. for the most part, that CCA > D-Nail.
When using the same dabbing surface, that is SiC vs SiC and Quartz vs. Quartz, the Liger V2 lets less reclaim into one's dropdown/rig.
So it's definitely more efficient.
However, the D-nail Sapphire Halo is...

Any ETA on those babies?
I remember seeing a picture last year of the mobile; looks like the same pic they have posted on their IG account now.
Will the mobile unit only support Errlectric heaters/nails?
It wasn't real cheap, but I do like it.

I initially bought the car adaptor for the unit, but it never worked very well and I kind of put the travel enail idea on the back burner.
Then my car was...
Oh, I'm picky about the quality of my concentrate.
I only buy ounces.
Really only want to dab on a full Sapphire Halo; even SiC doesn't compare.
Don't use a torch (even when on the go).
I sold all my cheap glass.
My pieces are now all beautiful in both form and function.
I was combusting out of...
Deep-Six Recycler #1 by Fluid Motion Glassworks
Where's the down-stem you ask?
Oh, there isn't one ...
There's six!
The joint is split into six seperate down-stems.
They twist through the outer-wall of the bottom can!
So, there isn't really a percolator; unless maybe a "Deep-Six" /...
