Fine grind for me too :) I have 2 grinders here (Compton and Kannastor) and after some use I definitely prefer the smaller grinder plate of the GR8TR. The fine consistency of herb works well for the vapes I own :shrug:

I'm sure the stuff in contact with the water is just emulsified as @kellya86 alluded to earlier. I think it's a bit like rosin turning waxier/into budder if there's too much moisture left in the plant or when left out in a humid atmosphere
