Hi @KimDracula :wave: Thanks for taking the time to reply :) My grind is already quite fine as the flowers I'm using up at the moment are pretty dry.. Not powder, but certainly not chunky either. :shrug: I also think the ELBs are too long. I put a small amount in the bottom (1/4 full maybe)...

I've accidentally used mine at 3 with a standard ELB. I didn't think it was too bad, but the AVB was pretty dark in places. What bugs me a little with this EVO is the uneven extraction/need to stir the ELB's. I think I've just been spoiled by my Mighty which spits out very uniformly toasted...

You could always grind it to powder, put it in capsules and take them with fatty food :shrug: I keep thinking about attempting to use my AVB in peanut butter and nutella milkshake, but never seem to get around to trying it. AVB has the weirdest smell...

I think most of the bad taste of the ABV is removed when you filter the plant material back out and the coconut oil helps mask the remainder. Another option I've read about (but takes even more time) is water curing the ABV

^ yup, small piece of silicone over the mouthpiece works really well if you have a 18-14mm reducer around and saves forking out £15 on an adapter if you're strapped for cash

Yeah I chucked some away the other day because it just accumulates so quickly :p (wasteful, I know) I'm sure I remember reading someone saying they did a quick ISO wash with avb but don't remember if it was any good/worth doing. I'd be interested to hear the results if you do try it :)
