I think that chart is for the SiC Halo on the Hive ceramic joint?
That is the nail that they recommend for torching.
However, I torch my SiC Halo on a V1.4 base (? I think that was the version; the style that came prior to slimline) on a daily basis.
I use it as my travel set-up and it...

No tracking # yet, but I don't expect the wait to be long.

Gah! I can't get the photo embedded.
So no pictures, just sexy talk:
It's a Zebra Wood encllosure with the wood grain set at a diagonal angle...
Holy shit, just ran across John Bridges (Blackfire Glass) IG account.

Funky marble video...
Wow, that's quite low.
But what I really mean is does it qualitatively make the dab better or different?
If you were dabbing blind (w/o knowing what controller you were using) could you tell were using a Hex-Nail vs. a standard PID, and why?
I'm a dab technophile so I'm probably already...
That huge bubble in the melt at the end hung on forever before bursting!
What was your order of acquisition?
Liger first and then Hex-Nail, or vice versa?
I currently have a Liger (using an Auber rdk200) and am wondering what kind of difference the Hex-Nail makes on the dabbing experience.

I've been running the Liger without a dropdown in this rig 24/7 for the last ~18 months:

An earlier post notes that the Halo fits, but could use another thread or two to snug all the way down.
(it sounded like it was snug enough).
The added surface area of the Halo, and shallower dish + a great carbcap should be great.
How does the Twax dab experience compare to the Halo (w/flat...
