Search for the part numbers - my nozzles arrived from eBay this morning
And all's working well with about 115 x 3mm rubies, a slightly flattened out Arizer dome screen at the bottom and a bigger screen in the top
Really pleased with the results and fit with the Elev8R, short 18mm reducer...
The lil bud (and its siblings) had a version of Alan's spiral mesh coil too

I don't think I've seen any longer ones than these on sale

I've not taken one apart but I'd say it should attach to the metal handle part as I have taken a few soldering irons apart (which are very similar things) and the earth wire goes to the metal around the heater to protect the user in case there's a short
I use them with all my buck boost controllers
I'm a little surprised REFC hasn't included some provision for one in the design to be honest
And think a higher rated rocker switch in the housing would be a better option
Nice builds
Really pleased to see a few more DiY Glass Symphonies on the board
Yes (well no actually but I know what you mean :) )
In the listings they say it's a K type thermocouple
You could test that if you wanted
Holding the > button for a few seconds on start-up will auto tune...
The element is connected to a 936D soldering iron controller for temp control so I did know the answer to that :) Can't remember how much now but temps are lower and it hits harder with the balls
Yes - these are the ones I use
The second one should fit nicely in an REFC labs ATM module .....

I think he uses this one...
The smaller Vapocane came with one
I think bowls like the herbo, terp torch or hot rod will put the heater too far away from the load with an 18/14 adapter but an Elev8r bowl with an 18/14 adapter may work

VROD or 19/26 Glass Symphony on the 18mm rig
Elev8R enail or Halo Whippi3 (like an iDB Halo) on the 14mm rig
Splinter Z or Vapcap for direct draw
QQ4V or VROD for rosin
I have been using one of these for the screen in the 24mm bowl
https://blackleaf.eu/steel-hanging-sieve-oe-15mm
which seems a bit silly to be honest as it's all glass up to that point altho you can just bend the metal tab and push it in and it stays in place when you tip the bowl up
Does...
I dare say they have but I don't recommend it
The Liitokala batteries on AE are commonly sold as fake hg2, 26A, 30Q ... etc but the specs are never the same as the real thing so you gotta ask yourself if it's really worth the gamble to save a couple of bucks
I hope I'm wrong but it looks like another rework station in a new case for a 10 fold mark up, to me.
Maybe this one again?

Yes but the TCR is the rate of change soooo if you then increase or decrease the temp by 10 degrees and judge if it's actually gone up or down 10 degrees. the temp will change by more than 10 degrees if the TCR is too high and less than 10 degrees if the TCR is too low.
I like to set the TCR a...
