I certainly defer to your experience since you have your hands on one of the pieces in question.
It was just a judgment I was making from the photos.
Watching the vids of the older style I felt the opening to the neck old tube was just a bit too low for my liking and there seemed to be excess...
He has his own forum on BoroMarket with years worth of photos of his incredibly clean work.
I know it might not help you much if you don't have a BM subscription, but just letting you know Justin has been around for years and years turning out high quality work.
I've been meaning to get an EFS...
NICE! I love the new version. It takes care of the few dislikes I had about the original.
Love the new neck, splash guard, and mouth.
On the older version the neck joint to the can was too low causing quite a bit splashback.
Now they're raised it to near the top of the can and put the support...
I definitely also plan on buying an EVO when they're even available for me to purchase... who the heck knows when that will be. Like @darco said it's just to get a demo of what it's like and to hold us over. Then it becomes a back up unit if it lives that long lolol.
BTW, just bought 4 pack of...
I agree 100%
I also smoked over a decade and vaporized here and there and the past 5 years but it just never did it for me.
Now I'm more concerned with my health so I'm putting forth more of an effort to replace combustion with vaporization as much as possible. And one thing I did notice missing...
Man, @Purpl3_Haz3, that is a perfectly concise explanation. Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Before your post I was still a little confused with 'two cap method' vs 'mini-elb' but now I'm jive, I'm down, I can dig it!
Thanks man.
Don't smack me around for not reading back into the thead, but just to confirm, the 'mini elb' is an Arizer Extreme Dome screen with ELB cap, yes?
Good for hash, keif, etc.
Love your report, @Meghan. My Lotus is on it's way and I really can't wait to give it a try.
I'm most excited I think about the idea of using a flame and having an 'old school' type experience/routine.
I've never had a flame based vaporizer.
Coincidentally my Mobius 60b Stereo Matrix bubbler is...
LOTS of people bought those troublesome units for FULL PRICE, some places still sell them at full price (knowing they're troublesome).
And concerning repairs, warranty or otherwise, no one has any idea when (maybe IF) VXL is going to be able to start repairing the older units. So even people who...
Hopefully someone 'round here buys one and lets us know (hint hint to anyone looking for a grinder). :D
Yesterday the postman delivered my little package from China with my $1.02US (shipped) improvement to my jumbo SCS. A simple silicone wristband. They're so handy. It just stretches over the...
Oh pictures will be coming.
I love to see pictures of everyone's pieces, no matter how small/large or cheap/expensive.
It's very interesting.
And I like cookies. A lot. Too much, really. :hmm:
edit:
A small reminder of how important context is. :uhoh:
Of course not, none expected at that price. This cheap Cloud deal, like life, is definitely a gamble.
I would assume almost certainly so. I bought one on that assumption.
I would suggest anyone who buys one to use on 220v to buy at least a decent quality step down voltage transformer or you're...
I bought one. At that price I'm think eh why not roll the dice.
Especially since it's 110v and I will be running a 300w 220v step down transformer.
They had problems with that earlier but the step down transformer I'll be using is high quality and rated for 24/7 use.
So, fingers crossed it...
Yeah, actually I did. It looked like the ceramic grinding mech would grind the herb too fine (and not a good fluff) maybe?
Granted I was making that uneducated judgement based on the very tight meshing grind teeth and it being a coffee grinder by design. I didn't actually try to research...
Definitely would have been ideal. I wonder if they considered ceramic when designing it.
I have had a decent look around and haven't really come across any ceramic bladed grinders
that look like they'd work well with our favourite herb.
I love my jumbo 4" SCS, and don't need any other grinder, but I must admit there is another grinder out there that is unique enough to have caught my eye awhile back... a different and interesting design.
Anyone here ever use one?
It's called 'Kinder Herb Grinder' from Herbal Innovations.
It...
