No worries. Yeah that BWG piece is cheapest gridded stemline I've ever seen... and it's Schott glass on top of that. Awesome bargain. You don't see gridded stemlines + cheap together often because gridding is a time intensive process compared to just cutting slits.

hehe I know what you mean, mate. But the Cane is 17€ and the 7th Floor hook is 26€. 7th Floor blows their own glass and uses quality boro. I don't think you'd have to miss too many meals, maybe a snack :D

The Cane-Gun is made with chinese boro. It is more brittle and has less thermal shock resistance than a quality boro like Schott or Simax etc. If I were you, out of the list you posted, I would buy the 7th Floor product or the one from ALT. I know you said the ALT one was a bit pricey for you...
