I'm doing better,@Planck. Thank you for asking. The pneumonia has resolved and I am recovering. That seems to mean being very tired. As bad as it was, I'm thankful it wasn't worse and I am getting better.

I've got Corona virus. Yes, I have specific instructions from my doctor about all what I am to do. I have asthma and a compromised immune system, so I am listening. Until my lungs are clear, anyway.

Actually, some of us should. I'm was instructed to cough as much as I can. I was given detailed instructions on how to do it, and I'm doing it. Also taking my expectorant. I don't know about sputtering, but I'm sure it's happening.

I'm interested in the study, article, etc. that discusses cannabis vapor "coating" the lungs, and about the differentiation between expectorants. Curious to know about the differences, mechanisms of action.

Fluid in the lungs is never a good idea, but vaping isn't drowning. Vaping doesn't put fluid in the lungs. It would cause pneumonia if it did. Not washing your hands frequently would be a bigger risk factor, and you also have to be exposed to the virus.

I don't think I would have made it that first year after the trauma without cannabis and vaping. It helped me eat, sleep, deal with intrusive memories, flashbacks and nightmares. I don't know how to seperate out depression from everything else involved in PTSD. I just vaped and held on.
