Some Skywalker that's been curing for over a month in a Kilner jar with a 62% boveda pack
This stuff may not have the densest buds but imho it's something special and it is really potent.
Possibly my new fave :)
I put a bit under a microscope at work
om-nom-nom
lol
I only have one of the older style rounded bottom nails, so not sure if there are any variations in diameter or slot size...
I find the rounded bottom nail I have here to be slightly more restrictive in airflow.
The slots on the new nails are much bigger which also makes it easier to load them...
hahaha, doesn't stop me either.:science:
I even top up bowls with kief sometimes for that extra kick to the chest.
The sub was my other choice when purchasing the Evo, but it was never in stock..
Just checked on @VapeFiend.com now, it still isn't :(
I'll take that as a compliment lol :D
I run my EVO at max to start then turn it down to 1:30 after it heatsoaks (Any higher and I risk combustion) and run it for hours and hours at a time.
Yeah I fill my ELBs about half way so there's room for the herb to move around.
At a guess I'd say I'm...
My Vapexhale EVO is pretty much a single hitter with herbs or concentrates
Massive rips like my old bong days. :science:
Sometimes I'll stir and try for a second hit, but unless I've overloaded the basket, it's just wispy vpours, very dry and tasting toasted.
With mine it depends how long it's been on for.
I can hit it on max when first turned on (and lit green) with successive hits needing the dial to be turned down.
I found that after heatsoaking for a couple of hours, the highest I can run it is about 1:30, any higher and it will combust
Ideally no water is best, but a tiny amount of water in the bottom chamber isn't going to harm anything. It's the overflow protection doing it's job.
You just don't want the bottom section to fill up and get anywhere near the slots above the 18mm joint as it could then soak your EVO and herb/oil
way too much water
Fill to just below the honeycomb disc
there should be no water in the bottom section. it is only overflow protection
[edit]
like this picture of the older revision of your tube i found on google images
Nope, no water in the bottom section.
The bottom section is only there as an overflow protection.
Fill with water to just below the honeycomb disc
TBH those ELBs look OK to me, maybe a little rough around the bottom of the front one, but still fine.
If worried, give em a little iso rinse and...
No need for pouches when squashing plants imho it would be an unnecessary expense.. maybe if it's really dry.
I just use parchment for bud, and if I'm squashing hash, I'll wrap it in either a coffee filter or some fine steel mesh before putting it in the parchment.
I mainly squash the...
