The lack of temperature control on the device itself really isn't a problem at all for me. I tend to use my vaporizers at the same temperature anyway. I'm assuming that I will just have my FF2 set at Medium-High at all times and control temp with the draw speed.
Mine says "Processing" as well. I'm sure there is nothing to be concerned about. Just means that the order is in a processing stage until they ship it.
This is the first incident of red and blue "cop lights" that we've seen on here or Reddit in a while. So even though it still happens, at least the failure rate does seem to be much lower than it was. Hopefully they get you sorted out quickly @OMEiAM.
The GH does a great job with micro-loads @TheLorax. No trouble at all getting visible clouds with small amounts.
But micro-loads aren't really even necessary with the GH to get the kind of control you're looking for in regards to how high you get. Because it's 100% convection on-demand, you can...
Damn, 2 hours later and still available. I'm pretty surprised actually. These are only like $295 US which is a damn good deal for being able to skip the line.
And now another review from @BuzzDanklin :

Ya, I couldn't resist... I pre-ordered a blue one.
VapeCritic's review of the Firefly 2 is up:

Damnit I thought I could hold out but now after seeing this review I really want to get one.
To be fair, we haven't been hearing nearly as many stories of failed Hoppers lately, and more of more of them have been shipping out. I get the sense that the recent batches of Hoppers are more reliable than previous models, but we definitely need more data before making that conclusion.
@Vape Dr. When you hit the NonG like a stem, how dark does the ABV get when you are done? If it's not getting to a darkish brown then the voltage probably just isn't high enough and you would need to try increasing the voltage with a VVPS to dial in the temperature you want to vape at.
You just drop the entire mouthpiece in ISO. There's no need to dismantle it any further because it looks 100% brand new after you clean it.
Edit: Just saw your post above mine. I would still give it a try in ISO only because the results are SO good.
@lamedroid
My guess is that you packed it too tight. For the most even ABV you want a reasonably loose pack to allow the air to freely flow through the bud. When it's too tightly packed, you're going to have hot spots like you do in that pic.
Stainless steel is definitely more glossy. It's hard to tell from the pics but here are a couple I took of them side by side:
I don't feel like it uses any more power but it's hard to say that definitively based on the way I use my batteries (always rotating them). All I know is that when...
I just got my Ti Grasshopper yesterday and so far it has been quite an interesting experience comparing it to the SS version.
The first thing I noticed on my Ti is that it runs noticeably hotter than the SS one I have. If you read my previous experiences with the Hopper, it took me a couple...
I don't really understand the whole metallic taste thing, I don't get any of that with my GH hits. The flavor seems very pure to me and is the best tasting vaporizer in my collection aside from the E-Nano which gets top marks.
Yep, right on that sheet, it says that once registered to an individual the warranty cannot be transferred.
I actually bought one of the titanium ones on eBay so I could get the lifetime warranty in my name. Now I'm selling the SS model that I bought a few weeks ago.
@BuzzDanklin these are the photos that convinced me to change my preorder to a blue Ti. Very nice.
How does the anodized titanium hold up to wear and tear? Is it reasonably scratch resistant?
At this point I think it just makes sense to accept that we will not get reasonable shipping estimates from Hopper Labs and decide whether or not that's reason to pull your pre-order.
If you're willing to wait, then just wait it out however long it takes. The product is most definitely worth...
From Reddit:
"Hi There,
I apologize that we have been previously inaccurate with our shipping estimates. We are not intentionally lying to you. We always only estimate a ship date and therefore, I am not able to guarantee your Grasshopper will arrive in March. If I guaranteed this, and then...
Ya, it has great taste for the first couple hits but then it's all downhill from there. I generally like to extract everything I can from the herb and then I just toss it. I don't save ABV, not a big fan of edibles lately.
