@condition maybe try squeezing digger-outer and opposite sides together (as for a regular cap), taking the captive bumps out of the equation altogether? That worked for me (though I also flattened the bumps with a needlenose pliers). @stark, I joined the dynaverse with the 17M—the glass ones...

For what it’s worth, I also have that nickel contact allergy, and have been able to use the steel dynavaps for years with no issue. (But don’t let me talk you out of the titanium...)

When the Neo is fully charged, is the display supposed to show a full battery icon? Mine shows a filling battery, but after a while the screen goes black and I can’t tell whether or not it’s fully charged. QuickStart guide doesn’t say...

You can flatten the captive bumps with a needle-nose pliers, then squeeze the cap to fit. That helps, but it seems the captive cap is just a touch wider in diameter than the older caps, and so still seems to let more air pass. I just found a combo that i love, after having put my non-modified...
