The Imp compares very favorably. There isnt much performance gap, probably more of a personal preference. I dont know about AF, but surmyevic has been very reliable for me. I feel like the interface on mods themselves are kind of wonky, but once you setup your tcr it works great.

Running mine on the P80 using sur_myevic, have my tcr set to 198 and I get perfect chocolate brown avb at 205c. I find if I slightly twist the stem every few hits I get nice even roasting. Very much enjoying the smooth, tasty vapor this thing puts out.
