Vitolo - you're saying the material is acting like a wick rather than normal cotton (just a carrier) to keep the oil against the sides of the oven?
I could see trying maybe a dab (which you can do with cotton - just keep the oil on the side instead of the middle), but any more (let alone half...
It looks like copper wrapped around cotton to me... Cotton is what you generally vape oils in for convection vapes, but wonder what this magic material it's made out of...
However, if it's legit, .5g would be many many many sessions worth and likely make your Pax a goopy ruin of a mess long...
That's definitely a game-changer for me, then, as I was just considering putting the Omi up for sale, but if the 14500 makes that much of a difference (and slightly shorter), the portability/stealth factor gets appealing again! (But, admittedly, at an additional cost when arguably it should...
So, you're saying the 2.5 head with a decent battery actually works? Seems even with the 1.5 ohm carts in my 2.0 Omicron I mostly get wisps unless I run it like I mean to fully discharge the battery each time. (Or, rather, the Persei opened my eyes as how reckless you can get with these carts.)
With all due respect, he said he was trying them with an "Omi" which I'll take to be the Omicron. I have to admit I was less than impressed when I first got my V2 Omicron and never saw a real cloud until I got the Persei (after debating to go HVD Omi or not to get the better top).
It's not ridiculous at all in that it more than makes up in butane costs, is very safe when used properly and is dead consistent in results provided you know what you're doing.
It's fun to dab in various things (see what I did there?), but the extraction process is not safe, no matter what...
I know about the indestructi-cases (which are actually really great for what they are), but looking for something a bit more pocket/backpack friendly. Basically like a zip-lock that's not a zip-lock, lol... Something fabric or feels good handling and comfortable to stash in a front pocket while...
Is there even a term for what you're describing? I call it "lighting off" when a 5.0 gets hot enough to keep vaping for a sec but still not hot enough to kill the seals or burn the oil.
And yeah... I love "lighting off" the 5.0s, clouds sooo thick.. Very hard to master without torching the...
Been looking in a few of the LHSs and such and not finding a good smell-proof case/bag as well. I'm not asking for miracle in blocking smell -- I'm willing to give up a bit of that to replace the zip-lock bag I use otherwise. Not very fashionable carrying arrangement for such a fashion...
You know, after reading all the confusion on the battery chargers, I decided to do some strong discharges of my own batteries and my plan grew more clear the more I discharged. I then placed the two 18350's into a charger and sat and watched them charge as I then started to discharge a 18650...
Been going to Labor Dave Weekend since ~2003? Ticket requests put in through the Warehouse, trying to score a pass to Wildhorse, but premier or terrace camping is great (sorry, in my older years I'm not too fond of trying to sleep through a night in District 9!).. You on antsmarching.org? Great...
I picked up one of these from Chief Cottonmouth about a week ago and have been putting it to good use:
Picked up a nice 14mm to 18.8mm adapter
And put a nail and dome on it
Thought I'd try a curve and swing as well :)
To the nitty gritty - lovin' it!
Haven't connected it to the...
I meet up with all but the last (though I'm well-off I don't need to sell anything). Currently using the Vapor Brothers mini bubbler for a number of things. I'll post pictures in that thread tonight to give some idea of what I have planned for this bubbler (and what I'm comparing it to)...
Nope.. Just take extra precaution to not get goop in the threads of the empty socket. I think some people had issue getting just one to work with a 3.7V battery (something got revised to fix it)? Never had the problem myself.
Yes, and while the 2.4 ohm carts are pretty much foolproof at 3.7v (or 4.x if you're not using an Omicron 2.0) and survive an infinite press, there's no real fun factor.
I've been loving the 5 ohm carts in that they are rather bursty. What I mean is that with a 2.4 ohm cart, you'll hold it for...
Some waxes/shatters smell much more than others... The Omicron with 2.4 ohm carts were always almost perfectly stealth since I usually could only gets faint whisps out of them, lol... The Persei with a 1.5 ohm or a 5 ohm will cloudify/stinkify a room quickly with little problem.
Been...
