If you give us some more info on your Dog (how old it is, Air Core vs Standard, etc) we can help you troubleshoot. Have you tried running it on a standard wall-wart since then?
If it's stretched and slid down it's done and will need to be replaced with a new one. To remove the old one from the bottom of the Air Core I'd suggest carefully using a long thin knife (like a steak knife or paring knife) to push down there and cut it free. With the back of the blade riding...
Heya Dogs glad to see you guys like the video.. I know a lot of you have been hoping for something like that for a while so we were happy to finally have something to show you.
There's definitely a lot of close up and personal labor involved with the making of each Dog, enough that we're...
Welcome back hazy! If you want to talk shop about your new design at some point get in touch. :science:
We make a handful of banksia pod pieces every year (and jokingly call them PodDogs) so it might have been one of ours you saw. The barrel shape is a pain so we usually don't do it. ;)...
Oops I didn't think there'd be that much demand for so many so fast.. I've got enough stainless left for a dozen or so more. I'll have time to make them mid to late next week and will have Underdogette let you guys (and girls) know when they're ready. :2c:
Heya Dogs, nice to see a bunch of new faces around here and happy to hear so many new people enjoying their Pups!
We've been crazy-busy around here taking care of both UD and non-UD stuff that's gotten backed up over the busy holiday season so haven't had much time to post. We'll try and drop...
That board won't output enough power, you'll need 12V and 1A to drive the UD (allowing for efficiency losses, etc) and that can only put out 400ma @ 12v so no dice. The specs for standard USB aren't high enough to meet the power requirements of an UD and it's hard to find things that are built...
Uh oh, yeah they have to be red high-temp silicone and I've never seen those in stores anywhere.
I think the cross section on these is too small (we use 3/32") but maybe this company who's in the UK can help you find the right size...
The Minis run considerably cooler than our current generation regular Dogs since they still use the standard resistors instead of our custom stainless heaters. Should be enough heat to vape with the Nylon Stems and NonGs but may need a VVPS to push the glass stems (Mini wasn't really intended...
Heya Dogs, just dropping in to let you know that we'll have more of the Holiday Specials up this weekend and hopefully enough of them to last thru the end of the month when the sale ends.
This will be the lowest planned pricing on Dogs for the year to come so be sure to pick one up and/or tell...
Unfortunately none of our stems are compatible with the WDZ. Our Nylon ones are too large and won't fit in the heat port and the WDZ runs too cool for our glass ones to work properly.
You might be able to find some used PD/Zap/WDZ stems in the classifieds forum though.
Yeah they went quick.. we'll have more ready sometime next week so hold tight.
RE: leftovers - with most blanks there's usually not enough left over for stems or anything else. I could send you a box of sawdust though. ;)
Oops, sorry I didn't see this part before my earlier response. The Dog itself shouldn't have any kind of odor other than a very faint hot wood smell. The (used) stems will have an odor but not nearly as bad/strong as combustion tools like pipes, etc. :2c:
Awesome, glad to hear you're enjoying...
Welcome to the Dog Pack..:tup:
No you definitely shouldn't put a heated Dog in any enclosed area (like a drawer) or near any combustible/heat-sensitive materials. When running the Dog needs an open area with plenty of air so it can safely bleed off excess heat to maintain it's proper...
