Right now mine is:
- Underdog
- FW9
- IQ2
Hoping to land a Toad or another pure convection portable to replace the Underdog and complete my portable trifecta, though the Underdog will always have its own place.
Huh, that’d make sense why I view mine like a conduction vape, I always seat the stem as far down as it’ll go!
I usually recharge mine every session or 2 since my Firewoods need to be 80-100% for best results and I haven’t unlearned that habit. When I did my initial burnoffs though I got 4...
Yes, at least for my use case the IQ2 is much more portable and tastes better with my current strain. It is harder to clean (mostly because all you have to clean with the solo is the stem you used) but it’s much easier to pocket and I personally like the auto temp stepping feature.
The main...
I would assume they’re probably like me where they prefer to vape on the go, but I would second a recommendation for a log. I really enjoy my underdog since it’s a much faster extractor than my portables, but I only use when the weather is nice enough to air out my house since I don’t like...
Same, it says they’re convection but I get really anaemic vapor unless I give it long (30-60s) heat soaks in between hits. I generally wait until I see wisps of vapor at the bottom of the stem to take the first hit, then go off time for subsequent hits. Sounds like the Air Max might actually do...
I personally like my Davinci IQ2 for the pure conduction stony feeling and the flavour is very nice until the end of the session. Used to use a Solo2, but it wasn’t portable enough to take on walks and doesn’t seem to hit quite as well.
Betting the S&B devices, the HR Rogue / Fury, and the xmax...
It is true they’re marketed as such, but at least with my Solo2 (marketed as 70/30 convection), it performs better treating it like a conduction vape with heat soaks between slow sipping draws. I wouldn’t be surprised if the air/air se’s better airflow improves the convection a bit but I am...
I think the + was basically just usb c pass through charging, slightly quicker heat up and slightly more battery? Also the mighty got the ability to stand without an addon
100%, 60 seconds is a long time if you only take a few sips at a time, but if that’s your use case a session vape isn’t a great fit anyway.
Looking forward to the usage reviews though, will be nice to see if it’s basically just a reshaped mighty like expected or if it has some new features that...
Yeah, reading closer it doesn’t look swappable, was really hoping the section showing off the 18650’s was showing their first user replacable batteries
The phrase “y’all motherfuckers need jesus” is a pretty common meme/turn of phrase that at least in my experience. Generally means something to the effect of “calm the fuck down”. It is crass, but generally not meant in malice, but I also tend to be pretty blasé about cursing.
Probably since it was one of the folks trying to calm down the slap fight (at that point folks were VERY heated). Also it’s frankly some sage advice in general
Here’s a few options from the recently active portables threads.
Convection (mostly copying @XpeeN above, don’t own any yet):
- Tinymight 2
- Xmax v3 pro
- Airvape Legacy Pro
- Prrl Neo (less portable)
- Angus (early versions had some rare melting issues)
Hybrid:
- Arizer air SE (conduction...
