I had roughly the same thing happen to me. I had a capsule stem ship separately, untracked, from my P80. I added it too late for it to ship with the rest of the order. It’ll arrive, don’t worry. It did take longer than the tracked order.

I sometimes have to mess with the ball to get it to seat correctly. When I don't I definitely get hits that are less thick. There is a position in which it seats correctly and sort of "clicks" into place, not literally of course, which gives the best seal.

I have a Wildfire OAB I bought in February and I generally keep it around 9.8v. It’s always on, I change the water once a day, and it’s my most used device. Far too easy to crumble a little material into the ball and get big delicious clouds.

The bags are very useful for holding the fine and coarse plates that I never use.
