Yes, I kept leaving it a second longer until it combusted. I've been doing three heating cycles leaving it 4-3-and 2 seconds after, then hit it with a torch for one heating cylce to finish it.

It's only heating at the tip, the load is noticeably under done.

Newer Mighty's have the boost feature like the Crafty. Double click the power button and it goes to a second pre-determined temp. On the Crafty you set it thru the app, not sure on the Mighty.

I don't know if it's available over there, but I've been using Clark's Cutting Board Oil and Wax for some time. Food safe and reasonably priced. If you can't find that, you can look for another brand.

@Ratchett 's V3 is the one you want. The only thing that would make it perfect is a little longer neck on the 18mm part. It's normal length, but I have a few recessed pieces that it would work with then w/out an adapter!

I agree with them, those three will do right by you, but something from the StickyBricks family would round it out with Butane!
