No, it's still a little higher than I want, but way better. Fixing it isn't too bad if you have some long narrow tweezers or the like and can see into it. That was my issue, eyesight is going.

I can get about 16g on it, and it's usually small popcorn buds, they're all saved for cooking. I'll pull it out tomorrow and see what fits normally.

My recently rma'd Ti screws down harder the last few threads as well. I did notice that when it came back, there was a drop of solder on the board that we used to all worry about wearing down. Seems it may have been a problem after all. I also think this is my tightening issue.
