    The WISPR vaporizer

Since the operating temperatures are supposedly the same, I wonder what is causing the better hits on the WISPR over the Iolite? I can think of two things. First would be a redesigned airflow that allows less air through, increasing density. The other thing would be that the element/bowl have...

    The WISPR vaporizer

Maybe they just assume that people who are going to attach a longer stem are going to make it a whip, and everybody else who doesn't mind the short length will be fine with this one. From the pictures, a longer stem would have changed the shape and button orientation of the device. Personally...

For bigger groups of people and are as or more efficient than MF?

I would say, just from what I've read on here, that a log vape is not going to be suitable for that many people. For starters, even one person using a PD or MZ gets what people claim is a lighter or different high. Five people using the same log would each need their own stem, or you'd be...

For bigger groups of people and are as or more efficient than MF?

Another vote for a bag vape if you're looking for something for parties. My EQV can pull 4-5 bags out of a small to medium sized bowl, plenty to get a handful high. Plus when you're alone you can do the elbow pack for yourself which is also smaller than a standard bowl.

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

Damn you VXC. Just lost my afternoon reading through this thread and now I'm so pumped up about a home vape I really don't need/can't afford. If this thing is out and booming around Christmas I can see myself making some bad life choices =) It's funny to me that the showerhead perc is so...

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

^ From what I've heard it's not recommended that you use has with the LB because it will gunk up your screen. However some people have mentioned it so if you dig around there might be a way. As far as your NO2 I'd recommend sandwiching hash in between two layers of herb.

El Cheapo (Top Vapor) Vaporizer not living up to expectations?

In addition to everything above, any grower careless enough to not take the time to identify the sex of their plants and remove the males just sorta indicates a careless grow overall, right?

Ecopain, do you own the original? If so can you post some comparison shots?

    The WISPR vaporizer

Not sure how reliable these folks are (never heard of them before and not sure how they got their hands on a WISPR 2 months ago), but they claim that the WISPR does in fact produce superior vapor to the Iolite. http://www.vaporizerreviewsource.com/wispr-vaporizer-review/

El Cheapo (Top Vapor) Vaporizer not living up to expectations?

Try running it at it's max temperature for a while before turning it down to your desired temp. I do this even with my Extreme Q so there's probably value in doing it with yours. Other than that, what you said about super slow draws sounds about right. Odds are it's heat retaining abilities...

    Iolite vaporiser

Bingo. The first couple hits are much easier to get solid ones out of but as you keep going technique (especially drawing very slowly and for a long time) becomes essential if you want clouds. You'll still be able to feel the stream of hot air hitting your tongue as you pull. Also as has been...

    Iolite vaporiser

Take care, it will get HOT in your hand when you do this. I guess what you change is the vapour - air ratio, which I've found leads to much thicker, more satisfying hits.

    temptation

On the subject of flavour: Run through a nice bong with a diffused downstem, decent percs, and ice in the tube I still find smoke to be totally bearable and even enjoyable. Hitting a pipe I find to be the harshest so I don't do much of it anymore, and a joint is much different and bearable...

    The WISPR vaporizer

Yea not entirely sure why I said taste lol, just one of those things that jumped to mind that people have mentioned in the past. Still, you're right. Changing the taste would involve some kind of substantial changes to the Iolite design. The lack of down-cycling is interesting but maybe cause...

    Flavored Vapor?

I've been getting flavoured vapour hits for a while now. It all started when me and some friends had the genius idea to mix loose-leaf tea in with our EQV bowls. Off the top of my head I can remember doing lemon, orange, mint, and some spicy ones as well. It makes them delicious and reminds me a...

    The WISPR vaporizer

^ Finally. Every time I see a new post in this forum I get excited thinking somebody finally has theirs. Very interested to find out if the WISPR really improves on the originals performance, taste, etc. or if it's only the form factor that's been changed. Personally I'd count it as a huge...

    temptation

I love me the occasional bong rip when I'm hanging out with other people an it's available. I know how horrible it is for me but it just feels so refreshingly different from the usual vaping experience. Also if a bunch of friends feel like going for a walk we'll roll a few Js to take with us...

    The Magic-Flight Box

Heh, mothers. Last time I visited home I had some brownies, a few grams, and my Iolilte sitting in the bedside cupboard. She NEVER goes in the guest room, but for some reason that time she decided to clean up in there. My Iolite was there when I got back, but the weed and brownies were gone. I...

    Homemade Vaporizers

Kinda reminds me of a mini VHW. Very modest, simple setup, I kinda like it. If we had more reviews/testaments to it's quality and durability I'd probably take a serious look at it. Off-topic, but wasn't VHW working on a miniature model? Did that ever happen?

    Iolite vaporiser

Just like anything else, and in my opinion more than with other vapes, technique with the Iolite is key. You can simply turn it on and puff on it casually and after twenty minutes or so you'll be feeling it, but if you want the big hits you've got to focus on having a super fine grind, let it...
