The Direct flow tube is more for using with glass pieces, as it bypass the primary cooling system in the stem. So If using native you would likely be using the Helix tube.
If you are actually refering to an airflow setting, I have tried it native using the two main airflow settings ("Open" &...
Welcome mate. I can confirm it's a big step up from Dynavap. I'm someone who loved the ease of use, portability, workflow of the Dynavap. I was a day one Dynavap user since the first glass model, and owned Omni's and Simrell stems etc.
I ended up selling my Dynas couple years back as the small...
That's really interesting, thanks. I didn't experience the Revolve so this is all new to me.
Next I'm going to keep the dial setting where I is, while changing the airflow on the tip.
So I have it set to %Bypass" with the Helix tube. This means the vapour is traveling up the primary cooling spiral, without being diluted with air. The air coming through the carb hole instead goes straight to the MP. I turned it further to reduce the amount of air doing this. So in effect it's...
A heads up to people getting their Tempest soon. I've been experimenting a lot with airflow options (including adjustable airflow on tip). In short you have a huge range to select from, and in doing so you can change the experience quite drastically.
I'm now at a combination of settings where...
I'm really excited for more people to try this thing :)
Sorry I can't advise on the insert. I installed mine before I noticed Brenyo gave instructions. I just shoved mine in from the bottom. Haven't had any problems, but I would suggest following Brenyo's instructions.
Not currently a pre sale. But full release is right around the corner.

@VapingYogi So I just heated a bowl from cold using torch. Aimed low down outside the marked sweet spot. I combusted. I heated until my typical visual indicator position. Previously I did it on a reheat.
So I think for anyone wanting to create conduction in this way, you will end up having an...
I'm out the house ATM. I will take a pic this evening when I'm using it. My visual indicator is not tuned, so I don't think it will have a lot of value to anyone. To be specific the indicator has these 3 notches that Brenyo maybe intends to represent light roast, medium roast, dark roast. My...
Subsequent bowls for me always take around 50% less time and heat to get to the same point on the visual indicator and roast level. So if I want a really dark roast session, my first bowl will be 38-40second heat up. Subsequent bowls around 20seconds. Regardless of heat up technique.
In this...
@Brenyo Which O-ring is not ISO safe? Is it the green one that holds the radiator over the stem?
My typical overnight hot water fairy liquid soak didn't cut it as I've been putting a lot of hash through it.
Anyone using a fine grind? Does it produce thicker clouds? Does it affect restriction.
Trying to convince myself it could satisfy me even though Mighty couldn't. If fine grind has an affect it may be worth me trying it in the future.
I don't want to give false hope, but I've had things turn up randomly many times, when tracking info had not updated to reflect it's coming arrival.
Happens all the time with my tea orders from China/Taiwan etc. Either way I hope you have it in your hands asap
Just a vape geek given an opportunity to analyse an amazing vape before full release. I know it seems I'm trying to do you all a service, but it's more accurate to say I'm just really enjoying using and discussing the vape with you guys. This thread will be amazing when Tempest is fully out in...
